I'm sure Oakland will still be in the game. They usually don't remove stadiums, which is great. Wish they'd do the same for uniforms, but that's a different topic. I feel like they probably will create the Sacramento stadium since they'll be there for a while. I'm hoping anyway.

They don’t actually remove uniforms. It’s usually just for a year and then they get added back after. Only ones that got removed were Cleveland’s “Indians” script jerseys, for obvious reasons.

As for stadium predictions, Rays will still be playing at the Trop. Not sure what the A’s will have but the Coliseum will be in for historic stadiums. We won’t get anything new this year though.

If I were a betting man, I'd say that neither stadium situation was addressed and we'll just have to live with the immersion killing Trop for TB and Oakland Coliseum for the A's.

The A’s will not be called the Oakland A’s because it would break the agreement with the MLB. Most likely won’t be in the Coliseum either but rather some sort of default stadium if not the Sacramento stadium.

This pic is from the ratings reveal stream they did yesterday. It basically confirms that the A's will only go by the "Athletics", since every other one of these showed the full team name with the city included.

Also the pic is clearly not at the Oakland Coliseum and looks to be a minor league park. It's hard to confirm that it is in fact Sutter Health Park, but since this move has been known for over a year and will be their home park for the next 3 or so years, I have a hard time believing that it wont be in the game.

I would expect the Ray will be at the The Trop because of the circumstance of it only being temporary. It's probably harder to program them playing at a stadium for a year and then moving back to The Trop. The Athletics situation is a little more permanent (although they will be moving ballparks eventually) so I would expect that the Sacramento stadium would be their home. Just my thought.

MLB confirmed this morning that both teams will be playing at minor league ballparks.

With that being said… Can you assign stadiums to specific teams that your not controlling in Franchise?

I believe you can't, you have to change their stadium when you play them on their home field

In your franchise hub scroll to the MLB logo drop down and you will see a “Stadium Assignments” tab….X on that and you can set all the parks for every team on what you want them to be.
