I'm hoping this Sutter Health stadium receives a little bit of touching up before the release. Everything we've seen has been a "Work in Progress" so here's hoping that they can make this look a little more like the actual stadium and less like a generated one.

Yeah that park looked wildly unfinished, hopefully it's just an older build and the stadium will look great upon release. You can tell by the devs' reaction that they were not intending to show it.

The problem with minor league stadiums is that most of the views are areas outside of the ballpark and this game has never excelled at capturing any areas outside and surrounding the ballpark.

Also outside of a few buildings, a bridge, and a highway, there is nothing really there to show. The actual stadium itself is just a regular boring minor league park so I don’t know what they could add to spice it up a bit without having seen any actual changes that will happen for the A’s (of which none have been announced). I guess they could throw a bunch of ads on the wall since that’s what the actual stadium has since it’s like most other AAA parks, but that’s about it.

EDIT: Here is a reference pic. Only thing that has been updated for the A’s is some new lighting, an updated batters eye (which is already in the game), and an MLB style clubhouse in the outfield.

It looks like they are also denoted as "ATH" on the score bug so the Oakland affiliation seems to be gone in the game, as in real life.

There was never a chance of this not being changed. Their official name for these 3 years is “The Athletics”, and if you’re a licensed product, you have to conform to that.

It’s hard to tell since it was at night, but hopefully they get the accurate vista of the bridge and pyramid. Smonee’s created version has had these elements for years and they even light up at night. I expect the actual devs to do at least that well.

It’s just the Athletics. They won’t have a city attached to them until they get to Las Vegas. It’ll be like when the Commanders were just Washington. They’ll just be the A’s.

I have a feeling I am going to relocate them to Las Vegas after year 1 of my franchise and use a well done custom stadium from the stadium vault.

I just hope that no matter what they decide to do regarding the Rays and A's stadium situation, they let us know one way or another. If they're not in the game at launch and they are not planning on patching them in, please let us know. This way, for someone like me, who would absolutely wait to start a franchise if I knew the stadiums were coming, wouldn't be left drifting in the wind.

Its kinda funny , when this game got hot back in the PS3 days, its was all about the "Little Things" now they have completely forgotten that and this game now runs the same cycle. Different features that really have zero affect on my enjoyment of game, really no serious graphical upgrades and after the first month honeymoon ? the appeal wears off and only the grinders play the game. If they had a stadium idea for Rays and A's and not ignore it ? would have imo really shown the fans you care.
