Its kinda funny , when this game got hot back in the PS3 days, its was all about the "Little Things" now they have completely forgotten that and this game now runs the same cycle. Different features that really have zero affect on my enjoyment of game, really no serious graphical upgrades and after the first month honeymoon ? the appeal wears off and only the grinders play the game. If they had a stadium idea for Rays and A's and not ignore it ? would have imo really shown the fans you care.

Well, there’s a lot to unpack here. What exactly are they ignoring? The A’s stadium in Sacramento is in the game, so there’s that. The Rays didn’t actually change stadiums. They just aren’t playing at the Trop because of a hurricane. Why would they create a whole new stadium when they’re only going to be borrowing a stadium for a year until theirs is fixed? It isn’t like you can’t download Steinbrenner field if you want to let them play there for a season.

If they had a stadium idea for Rays and A's and not ignore it ? would have imo really shown the fans you care.

They have a stadium idea for Tampa and the A's. Sutter Health for the A's, the Trop and/or any other stadium you want to play in, be it a user-created stadium or one of Sony's own that's included in the game. Who knows, maybe Steinbrenner Stadium will make its way into 25. So I haven't seen any reason IMO to think they don't care, regarding Tampa and the A's.

Uhhh I did and the fact is user created and minor league stadiums do not have the same graphical fidelity as the MLB parks. Anyone remember the Field of Dreams field with the 2D corn fields. ? Thats was....bad. Why do I want to play 81 home games in a park that is PS3 graphical engine thats in 4K. Listen I get it, you are just going to pay the $100 regardless of what they do, Im just saying they could have done better

You didn’t read because it’s been updated to show that the Sutter Health Park is neither a user generated stadium or a minor league stadium (in terms of MLBTS creation) and they built it from scratch. I personally thought it was a stadium creator built one, but the screenshots have proven me wrong.

Do you want the A’s to come up with a major league park before they move to Vegas?

As an update to this thread, right now Sutter Health Park in the game has a new larger scoreboard, so I wonder if it’s getting one in real life too.

Seriously, I saw in a stream from someone who has the game, that Oakland Coliseum was removed completely. Not even in the Old Stadiums.

I would bet that this was a specific ask from MLB or the Athletics. Like how when the Guardians rebranded all references to Indians were scrubbed, even in old card art from DD. Some of that has trickled back in and maybe we’ll see the Coliseum return once some of the dust has settled.

I think you may be on to something here. It was a bitter and protracted battle between them and the city. I am sure they probably want to put the whole embrassment behind them at this point. It would be like leaving an ex who was abusive and cheated on you but still using their last name.

SDS isn't going to change their stadium because of natural disaster they have no control of.

You can download the stadium they'll use this year and change it in Franchise.

If this game is supposed to simulate the 2025 season, the Rays should be playing at Steinbrenner Field.

My guess is that there isn't a mechanism for a team to change stadiums after one year so they didn't make them play at the temporary one. With the schedule being out of whack for the Rays this year it's probably a good thing that they're playing in the Trop. You won't notice all of the day games.
