Lack of errors in franchise mode

I’m just going to ask if anyone has found a way to replicate a realistic amount of errors committed by the user controlled team in franchise mode. I am 144 games into my Yankees franchise and I have only commented 2 errors. This is the only issue that’s been preventing me from getting a perfectly accurate replication of reality in a baseball simulation

Do you play with throwing meter on defense?

If you want realistic stats, you can turn that off and rely on player ratings.

There is also a slider that can increase or decrease infield/outfield fielding/throwing errors

I've never looked to see how close my numbers align with IRL numbers but I do exactly that and turn off throwing meter with button throwing only, not button accuracy. I prefer it to be more about the players individual ratings than my stick skills (or lack of stick skills). And I'm happy with my gameplay results.

As far as error sliders, I turn infield errors up to six from default five, and turn outfield errors down to four from default five. Again, happy with the results. I also play with autofield on but make (or attempt to make) all throws myself.

For whatever its worth, I turn fielding range/reaction down to four, turn infield arm strength down to four, turn outfield arm strength up to six, turn baserunner speed down to four, and turn baserunner abilty and aggression up to six. I think that about covers it. I've used this setup for years and extremely pleased. Wouldn't even consider ever playing any other way.

They are still low and I have the sliders jacked up.
        10 on infield throwing
        8 infield fielding
        10 outfield fielding
        9 outfield throwing.

And are still low. I think the mlb average is about 1/2 error per game per team.
I use auto throw and auto fielding so I won’t see the dreaded blue circle

Throwing meter this year looks to be a lot more difficult so hopefully that will make things more realistic/challenging for us meter users.
