    Ohtani Is Unbelievable

I'm in the month of June 2025, in my Cubs franchise and I've never seen a CPU player be on such a tear as what Ohtani is on for the Dodgers this season, and especially in the past 18 games. He started this 18 game stretch homering in 6 straight games and going 12 for 25 with 14 rbi 6 hr and 12 runs scored. Over the past 18 games he's 29 for 77 .377 with 18 home runs 32 rbi and 29 runs scored. He leads the Majors in batting average .360, home runs 41, RBI 85 stolen bases 31 hits 107 and runs 89. Plus on the mound he's 7-2 with a 3.54 ERA while leading the majors in strikeouts 143 in 89 innings. I've seen CPU controlled players put up big numbers before but I've never seen numbers like this.

I personally like Shohei and think he's great for baseball. I wish all pitchers down thru history had been as interested in doing their full job at being a complete baseball player and took the time to work on their batting. So that we never would have been cursed to know the two worst words in the English language: Designated Hitter. Again I like Shohei. I just don't like his team. Since he didn't join the Mets, I wish he had stayed in the AL, even if that meant joined the Evil Empire. Or worse, Boston.

The great thing about Shohei is he gave Sony a great reason to give us two-way player abilty in the Show.

If you could Happy, could you tell us his WAR in your 2025 and 2024 seasons, please and thank-you.

An update to the season Ohtani is having because it's mind blowing. Eight more games have been played since the original post and he's gone deep eight more times. Through 79 games he's hitting .364/.435/.928 with 26 doubles, 7 triples, 49 home runs, 100 runs batted in, and 34 stolen bases, with an OPS of 1.362. He hit only 8 home runs in April, 21 in May and through 18 games in June has 20. He's on pace for 100 home runs. His WAR has jumped to 8.4

Love it. I’m hoping he puts up similar numbers for me in 25.

Anything remotely over the plate with him and it’s gone..

I'm not looking forward to at all what he does to the rest of the National League. I truly wish he had remained in Anaheim and the AL. In my franchise, he might get about 15 IBB against the Mets lol.
