Great article Kyler! Agree with pitcher sub-ratings overall. Going back to The Show 24, the strikeout attribute was very low overall based on strikeouts per 9 innings.
This could be a side effect of trying to channel more offense to the game.

If Ohtani has a 96 Durability rating again and Trout's is 90 again, then they got it wrong. And then everything is open to speculation. I hate it for Online users but as a strictly offline guy, at least I have benefit of editing.

I'm not sure what they do for the regular ratings, but in DD, I'm pretty sure they use a three-year formula that's weighted towards the more recent stats. Vlad's rating being lower than Harper makes sense if you look at the three-year sample size.

How can you have a problem with Ohtani? In the past 4 seasons, he played in 155, 157, 135, and 159 games, and he pitched in three of them. Having to reconstruct a pitching arm is just standard practice with how they use pitchers these days and doesn't really say anything about his durability.

Only because it keeps him healthy enough to pitch.

Soto just had the highest WAR season of his career, so he's actually better now than he's ever been.

Witt should've been a 99 too though. Thanks for the article!

Dude....you want WAAAAAAYYYYYY too many 90+ overall players.

If it were me rating these guys, there'd be like ten 90+ guys in the entire league.
