Re: MLB The Show 25 Dev Tournament
Thanks Steve.
One thing to keep in mind - they removed the bullpen warmup time and 3 batter minimum rule for 3 inning content (which is what this tournament is). Both will still be factors in regular 9 inning play.
Feel free to post about how much you hate the Strike Zone cam now, because you're going to be seeing a lot of it in this tournament.Last edited by bcruise; 03-11-2025, 01:12 PM. -

Re: MLB The Show 25 Dev Tournament
Does it appear they are on auto field/manual throw?
No, it’s manual field. Saw a dive that wouldn’t happen on auto field.
It appears that blue circle is gone???Last edited by KnightTemplar; 03-11-2025, 02:01 PM.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Dev Tournament
I saw a dumb dive that had to be manual and a throw by the catcher well after a play that also had to be manual. So I’m assuming clean screen this year.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Dev Tournament
Apparently Coors Field and Laughing Mountain Park are the only two available stadiums in the game.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Dev Tournament
Also a bit concerning - the real time distance popup is showing up for all of the no-doubter home runs, and unlike what we were seeing before in Showdown and Moments, these are real (albeit shortened) games. It could still be an online-specific thing, but I worry that the distance marker will show up in all of the modes now.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Dev Tournament
I'm still seeing the circle on the occasions where they have the pitcher's perspective. So I would not get your hopes up on that.

Re: MLB The Show 25 Dev Tournament
One area of presentation in the field that I haven't seen yet in any of the preview videos is the fielder's last name being indicated. This has been in the game for the past few editions. I hope there is an option in the settings to turn it on.Last edited by ricket; 03-11-2025, 04:48 PM.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Dev Tournament
Those clips were from the batters view, hence why you didn’t see the blue circle or any fielding prompts.Comment
