Re: MLB The Show 25 Gameplay Interview with Chris Gill
Another interesting comment :
Are base runners always going to dive back into the base they’re on when there’s a pitch out or a ball in the dirt? It happens like 99% of the time.
We can confirm that we’re working on a patch and will have updates soon.Comment

He wasn't shy about answering it either. I kind of expected the "working on logic every year" kind of answer again when I asked, but we got a whole lot more specific answer this time.
Appreciate it if you're reading this Chris!

Re: MLB The Show 25 Gameplay Interview with Chris Gill
I’m very surprised this is the way improved bullpen logic was announced. Would have guessed it would be in the franchise or gameplay deep dives. Though, there seems to be a common trend among developers across the genre to not openly speak about long standing design decisions that have problems. It makes sense to me in that regard to mention it subtly and allow the product to speak for itself if it is in fact improved.CarefreeComment

I agree. And I don't need anyone to toot their own horn anyway. I'll be the judge of if/when something is improved, lol.Originally posted by KTBFFH...there seems to be a common trend among developers across the genre to not openly speak about long standing design decisions that have problems. I suspect prior to Tuesday's release the devs will do another franchise video and it will cover more than free agency.I’m very surprised this is the way improved bullpen logic was announced. Not that I don’t trust him, but I will believe it when I see it.
Some of those sim stats looked the same so I have my doubts in terms of how it works in actually simming in franchise mode.Comment
