    Had the same issue

When starting franchise, CPU Roster Control = Off
THen in settings, there is TWO different settings set

one is in genera, there are three options for it, use arrow controls to hit manual
the other setting is in Mode Specific, same deal

took me setting it up three times to figure it out

I'm having the same issue - I can't manually injure anyone, not my team or any other team. You didn't even need to have 30 team control on for that before, just switch injuries to manual. What's the issue?

You have to make sure roster control is set to off when you set up a franchise. If this is set to "on" there are no injuries in franchise. You can't even add them manually.

Yeah no dice, I go to Injured List and can't move anything. Injuries happen if I sim, but I cannot change with Injuries set to manual. It's worked the same way for like 5 years, I have no clue what this is other than a glitch.

            I have the latest patch.

As far as I can tell it still works the same as it always has. Injuries need to be on Manual in the profile settings, and you MUST have CPU Roster Control turned off when you start a franchise - you CANNOT change that option once you start.

I went through the whole process here from franchise creation (sorry Kyle!).

              <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KIcTxbwhF7Y?si=_KAJyEMjfQYDHzTs" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I ran through it fast (aside from pausing on the screen where you change CPU roster control), but if you have any questions, just ask - although I'll be at work in a half hour or so and might not get to answer until later.

Edit: Putting the managerial stuff on auto doesn't matter - that's force of habit because I'm more of an on-the-field type of franchise player.

Yeah, it wasn't that - I deleted my profiles and re-enabled them, new franchise and voila it worked. Thanks for the video, but I was doing all of that, kinda weird - XBOX in case anyone has to troubleshoot this.

I have never really messed with this feature. Do injuries happen in addition to the ones you manually create? Or is it only manual injuries? If only manual, what strategy do you use to create injuries?

It's always been that when you start a franchise you need to have roster control set to off.You can then go into settings and under the general category you scroll to the page with the injury setting where you can toggle to on,off or manual then apply changes.

You can toggle injuries to manual and set the injuries that you want by going to a teams injured list and then hitting the left back button on Xbox anyway where you can go to any player on the roster and set the injury.

You have to remember after doing this to go back to settings and set injuries from manual back to on because it's easy to forget until you don't see any injuries.
