Has anyone had an experience with the perks and upgrading them to where it’s more beneficial to lower the need for the perk to trigger or enhance the perks percentage to be a very powerful tool once it is activated?

Seems like a fine line of lowering perk triggers and enhancing how much of a percentage boost they are.

IMO it's a waste until you get your player abilities higher.

Yeah, your agent asks you before the draft if there’s a particular team you want or for it to be random.

I went to college. Projected top 10 not drafted yet. I like starting my pro career at 21 rather than 18. Lost 2nd game HS but won college WS with TCU as a 3B. The Bunt thing still seems to be a problem. First game I bought in awhile so far I like it.

Edit: I chose to go to Detroit and went one. Not sure if they got lucky in the lottery or it just the way it works.

Also chose to be a 3rd baseman. The CPU bunts are ridiculous. You cannot position yourself on defense, and I have seen guys bunt with two outs, two strikes and nobody on base. Doesn’t make much sense.

The mode overall is fun though!!

Three schools (LSU, Texas, Vanderbilt) reward a gold package but you can only select one item, while the other schools provide a group of common items to keep. These are redeemable only once but you can apply obtained items from other RTTS players onto a new player. It's possible to finish the college stage with three gold equipment items if you play three characters with each going to one of LSU, Texas and Vanderbilt.

It's also possible to "save scum" the draft if you don't like the team that drafted your player, just exit the game right when the announcement is made. I know it's possible to pick a team, but I like having a random selection with a bit of preference.

In 24 RTTS you had to jam down on the R3 to see (as an example) a live throw from the 3rd baseman to first. It's the only mode that the camera doesn't automatically follow the ball.If there is a setting I can't find it and no one has ever mentioned it.See my Nov 24th post "They say a picture" to see an example.
Do you still have to jam down on the R3 to see balls being thrown to a base?
Also there was no zoom on balls hit to the deep outfield(used to be in 20).Still true in 25?
I played every pitch in a 24 RTTS game and there was no mention of the umpire like there has been for years. I think it's usually in the second inning.Other modes there was the usual umpire mention (his name and supposed biases).
Umps in 25?

I thought it was also a nice touch that Boog doesn’t call the HS, college, or minor league games. Maybe it was like that in years past, but the lengthening of the same commentary at least gets pushed back when you finally make the big leagues.

At first I wasn't seeing it the first month or two, but it did kick in later in the season and when my player was called up to AAA.

I haven't picked up the game yet, as I figured to give them a couple updates. I usually pick it up a couple of weeks into April. I was wondering if anyone has created a 2 way player this season and how it is going for them? I was thinking of doing a Closing Pitcher and hopefully a DH. Never done a 2 way player yet. Thank you for any help/info.

Good game so far. Ive created a catcher and a Pitcher. The one thing I have noticed is its a real drag to get your player to hit the ball well. I usually play on All star and HOF and this year started at Vet due to the player attributes. Im in 1 month so far and havent hit a home run yet with my catcher. Picther is 1-2 with a 2.34 ERA avg 9 KO a game for the mets Organization . Catcher is in Indians

I finally got called up to the Royals after the AAA season concluded. Didn’t get enough at bats to register as a rookie which is a good thing. Still gives me a shot to win ROTY in 2026. Royals made the playoffs and I hit a 2 run walk off HR in the divisional series to put KC up 2 games to none on the Twins. I feel like the legacy is starting to take off.

On another note. The boss challenge equipment rewards are now appearing after the games.

Has anyone else noticed that when you’re on base, your AI teammates strikeout around 50% of the time? Sometimes swinging way too early on pitches; even fastballs that are 95 plus are getting swing and misses like they’re in front of a breaking ball.
