Also I saw a Outfielder in Pro Spirits make a diving catch and got shook up and his teammates went to check on him. Also every couple innings Pro Spirits does Video game recaps up to current inning which was kind of cool

Except for the ability to have pull over jerseys I would agree. The faces are more realistic imo but uniforms are pretty close though I would say one thing ? The hats to me look better in pro spirits. In the Show , depending on the head , hats can look like either they had to be shoe horn'd on or make it look like they are a kid wearing their dad's hat sometimes (Verlander). In Pro Spirit its pretty even for every player. And on curved hats in the show the logo is smaller though they did improve it last season so it wasnt so distorted.

I agree about hats for sure. Curved bills and low profile are bad, and have always been bad in the show. When I do my pre season roster edits in my franchise I remove curved bills and low profile from every player. I set anyone with a curved bill to normal.

All the lighting and atmospheric effects.

More realistic faces and skin textures.

More fluid and realistic swinging and pitching motions.

Different jersey templates like pullovers.

Basically just the graphics stuff, because I haven't had a chance to play the game yet, and I'm perfectly happy with the Show's gameplay. And it's not that PYS is like lightyears better than The Show just in raw graphic specs or anything, but it does have far superior art direction imo. Mainly I just feel like PYS really knows how to create drama and atmosphere in its art presentation and The Show comes off as sterile and lifeless by comparison.

But man, I will say the rain and fog effects in PYS looks incredible while The Show's is like sub PS3 quality. It seriously just looks like falling white lines in The Show and all the fog does is make the image look desaturated. There's no volumetric quality to it. No atmosphere. I hate playing in the rain in The Show.

Finally, Konami has an MLB license which it utilized to create a baseball app. with all 30 teams

I’m not even joking when I say that mobile game has better and far more realistic pitching animations than The Show, they’re on par with the ones in the NPB game. And that's a mobile game, made by JAPANESE developers. It's really impressive how they nail them, but The Show always kind of has those wonky ones

This was perfectly said. when you watch a Pro Spirits game, everything feels alive, listen to the PbP guys voice raise up even on deep fly ball, or the crowd chants, from the pop of the mitt from a mitt in pitching (thats a big one the show needs to improve, making 100mph FB feel like 100 MPH when pitching) pitch action looks more realistic. Overall the graphics are negligible in comparison but the details (hats, pullover jerseys, how the pants lay on back of cleats) Those are the kinda changes the Show needs to fo to refresh this game. Weather and skies need to be redone for sure. It just feels like pro spirits is a current gen game and Show isnt

Also in the Konami game you can have your pitcher go to the rosin bag. I do not believe it affects the game but it is another nice touch

It would be great if you could pick up the rosin once an inning or once a batter and it raise your control rating by a couple attribute points and maybe drop your movement attribute rating by a couple points.

Picking up the rosin bag in PYS helps your release timing late in the game when your pitcher is tired.

In the Pro Spirits game you also have the option of including the animation of the catcher throwing the ball back to the pitcher. One can turn it on or off.
