Actually went through the thread to see how you guys sim. I want to do more seasons but I can’t do every game every year.

With that said. At least for the first year, I will play most games. 150+ or all if I can stay ahead of the actual year.

I’m currently hitting on HOF default sliders, tried legend but just couldn’t get results and getting 10 strikes out a game was hurting the moral a bit. I’m pitching on GOAT default sliders as well. I need the extra challenge, I’ve always found pitching to be to easy for me on here.

Right now I play every inning, but I am not sure that I will keep that up. I want to play a bit of every game, so I will play around with the in-game simulation to skip a inning here or there.

I am on Hall of Fame pitching and Allstar hitting right now.

What’s your sliders if any. Cant seem to have any semblance of offense for me or the cpu. So much weak contact, lack of home runs etc

Playing further into y1 of my Angels franchise, I‘ve changed my approach. I now play every 4th series. Naturally this should lead to around 40 games a season, which is a good sample size in my opinion. This new approach works so well for me, I wonder why I didn’t think of it before. It’s creating a much closer connection to the ups and downs of a season.

Playoffs, not that I‘ll get there this year, I‘ll play fully. And with the start of the 2028 season I also want to switch to playing all the games, until Trout retires.

I just got the game last night but haven’t played any yet. I think the last version of The Show I had was 20 or 21, where I simmed quite a bit.

Once I get around to picking a franchise team and starting things, I’ll probably mostly sim with a healthy dose of partial games or player lock games. I want to at least get to the point where I have a drafted player in the majors before I start playing more.
