    DUMB QUESTION

    What is the difference between Direction ( buttons) hitting and timing?

    With directional hitting, you can user the left stick to influence the direction the ball is hit. So, if you want to hit a fly ball right field, press the stick up and to the left. Then the batter will attempt to hit it in that direction.

          And Directional is too. It just adds the ability to influence how the ball is hit.

          Kinda like power swing vs contact vs standard. But for the direction. If that makes sense.

          I like it because as the “manager”, you’re telling the hitter how to approach the AB. But it is still dependent on his ability and your timing.

          Also, if you don’t pick a direction, it’s basically the same as timing.
