Runner Randomly Stops Between 1st and 2nd

I've had issues for the past couple of versions where runners occasionally stop for no reason between 1st and 2nd. This has happened on steals and batted balls. This has also happened with auto baserunning on and off. Just this morning I had a player head toward 2nd on a steal only to stop and turn around 3/4 of the way there and get tagged out in a rundown.

Anyone seeing this and is there a fix?

Yes i have seen it quite often. But I think it's user error. I think I'm hitting R2 inadvertently while Im hitting. That is the button that stops all runners. I try to keep my finger away from that button as I'm swinging but still squeeze the controller to tightly and pulling that trigger again. I have tested pulling that R2 and it is definitely the button that stops all the runners as I can do it on command unfortunately I'm doing it when I dont intend to.

The stopping between the bases could be a user error. That is why I always keep a finger ready to push L2.

There are also instances where runners, even with two out, will run backward on a ground ball through the infield. I think that is a programming error. Again I keep my finger on L2 but it is not always enough to avoid having a runner thrown out at 2nd on what should be a hit.
