    Card difference?

I am very new to DD(This is my first year) and barely dove into Madden's ultimate team which it seems like has the same concept. My question is, I see people talking about getting a "Diamond" Felix Hernandez for instance, or a "Bronze" Jorge Soler. Are the cards just based on overall? Like any player with a 90-99 ovr is a diamond and so forth? Also, is there multiple cards for each player among the divisions? For instance, is there a 95 ovr Felix "Diamond" card, and a 85 ovr Felix "Bronze" card from his younger days or something?

When my brother was playing Madden 15 this year he tried to explain it all to me but lost me lol. He had a 78 ovr Tavon Austin on his team, but there was a 90 ovr Tavon Austin for sale he could buy so wasn't sure how it all worked.

    Any help is appreciate guys.

    Thank you.

I'd like to know the answer too.

Currently, there's only one card of each player.

Felix Hernandez is a diamond card only and yes, it's based purely on overall rating. Diamond cards are rated at low 90s and higher and below that are golds, silvers, bronze and commons. There are also legend cards which don't really have a tier that's based on their ratings.
