I've always been an offline franchise guy, but all I'm playing this year is DD. I enjoy the collecting aspect and even designing my own uniforms (I never thought I'd actually like that, but it's great!). The head to head experience hasn't been too great because of some cheesers online, so I usually just play Extra Innings -- that way I get to see some of the other creative uniforms people have created, play against similar squads to mine, and don't have to worry about guys quick pitching or taking advantage of the fact that I can't ever lay off a pitch in the dirt.

Re: Anyone just collect?
I haven't done extra innings or vs. Cpu yet, do you get anything for winning against the cpu? I'm getting sick of head to head cheesy players at this point. I'm not a big online player but I've gained some interest in diamond dynasty this year and want to add to my card collection without having to spend a bunch of money on stubs.Comment

Your best bet is to learn the market and start flipping cards, no need to spend real cash when you can easily profit in-game. I haven't spent a dime and have nine collections complete (nearly 11), and maybe 60% of the entire card collection.www.heyimbill.com | sports poster art and other cool stuffComment

As far as WHAT you get,it's really hard to say,but depending on difficulty it will give the %'s of what type of reward you can earn...either bronze, silver or gold.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Yea you do get awards for playing against the cpu, obviously the rewards will be better if you win as well as the difficulty you play on.

Re: Anyone just collect?
Prior to this year I only played rtts and a little franchise mode and that was about it. A friend told me to give dd a shot this year and I'm hooked. Haven't done anything but online dd now and see no changing. I'm 30-18 in all online dd games with a rating of I think 1580 (I think that's pretty good) but how the cards and the open market work is very addicting. I'll be honest I've spent a few bucks here and there for extra stubs to open a bunch of packs and then try and work the market to complete collections.Comment
