Best position to place the created DD player?

For argument's sake, assume that the player has all 99 stats.

Probably Centerfield, that way you can chase everything down

I'd go with catcher. You can find other OF with speed to track down balls, but there is only 1 catcher who has 99 arm (Molina).

And Molina doesn't have 99 arm accuracy.

Catcher, followed by SS or 2B.

Definitely Catcher. Best way to stop all the speed cheesers.

SS or center field. I wouldn't say catcher because I put Dave Winfield there (an of) because of his 99 throw power and he has done better than all the catchers I've had, even yogi Berra. The player is most involved at SS, then at center field

SMH at this. The game shouldn't allow this type of thing to even occur. Hoping they can patch in the ability to deny users the opportunity to stick players in positions that they have never played.

Agreed, or diminish their fielding by so much that it hurts a gamer to use a player out of position. Imagine Winfield actually catching in a MLB game. It would be ugly.

Thumbs up. Used to make myself in RTTS. Now that I'm beyond playing age, I make an advanced version of my four year-old son.

I'd honestly go with SP if everything is maxed, and you have a good motion/pitch repertoire.

It's a risk, because you can't influence when you get your guy (and might even never get him) but any game you start with him, if you are smart, may as well be a guaranteed win.

This is what I do, and haven't lost yet with him.

They do. It's a 20% decrease in stats for playing a player at his secondary position and a 40% decrease in fielding stats for playing a player at a position that is not his primary or secondary.

I'm not impressed that that's what you have to do. Just like the guy I just played that had NOTHING but guys with 80 overall speed. Bunts. I ended up quitting out with a Friendly just because the game was not going to be fun for me. He had a stacked team and he purposefully manipulated the roster to screw others over. No fun.

If he's not selected as the starting pitcher is he available during the game to play at other positions?
