I have a question about collections. I want to do the mariners collection and I already have Cano. Right now Cano is considered one of the sixteen cards I have towards the collection. I counted and I have sixteen including Cano. You need two golds to get Edgar. My question is, since I have Cano counting towards the number, does that mean I can buy the rest of the bronze, silver and common cards and only one of the golds and still get him? Or does that number not mean anything and I have to get both anyway?

You do NOT need Felix OR Cano to complete the set, but you do need ALL of the rest.

I know I don't need the diamonds but I'm saying he's showing up as a number in my collection. What I'm saying is if I buy them all besides one of the golds and it says I have 39/39 will it not let me redeem it because I'm missing the gold?

I don't know the answer to that, but what I do know is it WILL MAKE CANO UNSELLABLE even if he's not needed for the collection.

I did the Jays collection, and had Edwin too as he was in my lineup, and it sale-locked him even though you don't need him.
