It is pretty sad what some people will do for a win. Luckily after about 10 h2h games, I haven't experienced any funny business. Of those 10 games, the problem I've been having is with the players I call "beany babies", who will bean your players constantly once they're down a few runs. That annoys the heck out of me! You would think some fair play rules would be in effect, where after 5 consecutive bean balls the player gets kicked for griefing.
I'm over it.

I've also started dusting ppl off the plate up and in if I feel like they are abusing the bunt mechanic in this game. After throwing a 98 mph fastball at their head as they go down to bunt typically gets them to chill.Comment

Re: I'm over it.
I still can't believe bunting hasn't been fixed in this game. Online matchups should give a loss to a player and end the game if they bunt more than 3 times in a row. No situation in real baseball would have you needing to bunt 4+ times in succession, so The Show shouldn't either.Comment

Re: I'm over it.
I hate to sound like I am on a high horse, because that is not my intention at all. I have only experienced this type of behavior in about 2-3 games out of the 30 that I have played, and each time I just concede defeat and then file a grievance against them. I know that this probably does nothing, and trust me it pains me to give in and allow these cheesers to gain a free win, but at the end of the day I really don't think it is worth my time/frustration sinking any more time into paying an opponent who is not playing the game properly. I care about my overall record, but I don't care about it so much that I am willing to stick it out and have a miserable experience playing a game that I truly love.Comment

Re: I'm over it.
A "Play A Friend" option in DD would solve everything nicely, this way you're pretty much guaranteed a great game of baseball. Yes, I realize it's a competition-based mode but let's be honest, the post-game rewards are usually crap and not worth the 10% chance your opponent will decide after an hour or so to start running circles around fly balls hoping to glitch the game.www.heyimbill.com | sports poster art and other cool stuffComment

Re: I'm over it.
Had that happen to me once. I was home and I was up 3-2 in the bitten of the 8th. Ended up getting a 2 run homer to more or less cement my win. Now a 3 run lead going into the 9th you can still lose with how some ppl play this game but after the home run he would just throw at every one of my hitters. All of his pen got ejected until he had his last pen guy up then he finally got the last two outs to move it to the 9th but by then I was up something like 11-2. I threw behind him once and that pitcher got ejected wich was fine but he could of still had a chance at winning if he didn't have a hissy fit.

Luckily, this game is pretty challenging when playing against the cpu, so playing online isn't a must like some games. Heck, after playing games on legend difficulty, playing online seems like a cakewalk lol!Comment

Re: I'm over it.
I finally came across a guy who couldn't take a loss. I go up by 3 in the bottom of the 8th, he requests a friendly quit. I decline and then he just throws at my batters.
It was a good game too. 3-2 going into the 8th.Last edited by thedudedominick; 04-29-2015, 12:46 AM.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Re: I'm over it.
I just played a guy earlier who quit after 4 innings. I think what did him in was when my pitcher drove in 2 runs with a 2 out double to put my team up 3-0. Requested a friendly quit....denied....requested a concede....denied. Finally just quit the game lolComment
