    Inflated cards

I know this is a question that might not have an answer but when do you guys think inflated cards like altuve, David Wright, Ortiz etc might become reasonable? Wright was like 7k a week ago. Altuve is more than most diamonds now. It's make it near impossible to finish some of these collections. I'm new to these ultimate team type modes. Will the market crash eventually? Also who in your opinion is over valued?

    Re: Inflated cards

Ortiz is needed to unlock the best hitter in the game. He's not going down any time soon. In fact, he's actually gone UP since I did the Red Sox set a couple of weeks ago.

Altuve isn't going to drop soon either. He's one of the very best players at an extremely scarce position. Plus, he's pretty much the only gold or better 2B that can run/steal bases besides Dee Gordon. You also unlock a 98 overall 1B with 99 power if you have Altuve so he's not dropping.

The market will eventually crash, but probably not until September. Certainly not going to happen before the All-Star break.

Defense in DD is overrated since any player can whiff on flyballs extremely easily. Errors this year are a huge problem. I've had Machado make multiple errors in a game or my DD player miss dropped 3rd strike throws to first on many occasions when his arm accuracy is very high. Meanwhile I play a game against David Ortiz at 3rd base and he makes 8 or 9 flawless plays during the game. In fact because they only take a 40% ratings hit, someone like Kenny Lofton in the infield is a solid option since his defense ratings are high. I've seen him a few times in the infield make plays look easy.

How do you turn on the DH in DD mode?

            Thankfully, you can't.

Also, just pulled another Altuve a little while ago and sold him for 40k. He's not dropping.

So when playing versus the CPU or Extra innings you can not use the DH no matter what? Last year there was a option to turn DH on or off and quick pitch on or off and I can not find anything about where to find the settings but on your universal profile it still has Games played with DH or quick pitch on. Sorry about asking on this thread but it wont let me create a topic.

Also another thing I was looking for was the batting stances for this year. I found the list from MLB 14 but it says Mike Piazza is Legend Stance 57 and this year the Legend Stance only goes up to 50 so he can not be 57 this year. Does anyone know which is his stance because that is my created DD player and would like his real stance. I think maybe Legend 31 but not sure just a guess from looking at it.

Diamond Dynasty is strictly National League rules this year, which means no DH. You cannot enable quick counts either. Also, Mike Piazza's stance is Legend 38 this year. In fact, here is a list of all of them for MLB 15:

                  Hope this helps.

                    Re: Inflated cards

Altuve is quite possibly the best non-legend hitter in the entire game. I was sweating when I paid 28k for him back when the game came out but he plays like he's worth twice that price.

I'd easily pay his price currently (40k) for him.

You just are going to have to buckle up and trade your way up to him.

Wow altuve is up around 40k?!? Could have sworn I saw Him around 7-9k last time I checked. Should have bought him then, kicking myself for that now.

I've been using him in franchise and all I hit are pop ups. I'll get an occasional single but mostly fly balls. I have Cano so I don't have a need for him other than wanting bagwell but I can wait on him.

People want neikro lol. With those I just put in a buy order of around 100 and it usually gets filled but silly nonetheless. The one thing I don't get though is how lower rated cards, mainly golds are more exPensive than better players at their respective position. Ie Batista, Cruz, abreu all are incredible power hitters but fairly cheap. Is power not valued at all in this game? I know Michael Brantley gets lofton but I'd still rather have Cruz than either if his batting stats are that high.
