Lack of Diamond/Legend players in my team is getting to me

My record is 152-105

Rating 1720.

287 Homeruns in 257 games.

Not bad right? Wrong!

I'm fed up with being handicap against every single team in my rating rank.

Everyone seems to have a start studded lineup and insane pitching rotation? me? I have to rely in getting platoon guys, good not great pitchers and skills.

That can only get you so far though...I'm constantly having to face Ted Williams, Mike Trout, Miguel Cabrera, George Brett back to back to back to back in a lineup.

You would think that after playing almost 300 games I would have gotten a couple Gold, Diamond, or even Legend cards after the game right? No! You're wrong... don't even remember ever getting a Gold as a reward for beating an opponent with rating in the 1800s...

Is like the game is begging me to spend money on it...it's nuts. In such a high level and so many games, I should be able to be more in the field with these other players.

If it wasn't for the great performing bullpen I put up and an amazing franchise player (Without a Gold Player) I would be done for.

The mode is ADDICTING and better than ever but it has its flaws.

Either take the whole "Pay to win" stuff out of the mode or make it easier (Or rather more likely) for good players to get better cards.

Yes I'm on a 3 game losing streak and mad.

Do you flip cards at all? I find this game a lot easier to flip than the other ultimate team games. i turned 10,000 into 20,000 in a few days. using the website theshownation.com is really easy when you are not on the system. It doesnt take much time. Just my 2 cents

The day I finally fill my team with Diamonds and Legends, I'm going to punish so many "Good players" hiding behind Ted Williams and Stanton.

I look for cards with a big margin, for example i would put a buy order on a card for 400 stubs. Someone accepts. Than if the lowest sell order is say 801, i would put a sell order for 800 and make 400 minus the 5%. And do that multiple times to earn stubs and do collections for legends

Who is on your team? You have gotten over 50k stubs just from playing that many games, not even counting your rewards. All you need to do is work the market. I've spent only 20 dollars and my team is pretty decent. I have nelson cruz, jose fernandez, dee gordon, cliff floyd, rod carew, anthony rizzo, starling marte, and more. I also have an altuve that I'm waiting to flip, 2 kris bryants, 3 lorenzo cains, 8 kolten wongs, matt carpenter, and 2 dallas kuechels. Also have 5k stubs atm.

Who is on your team? You have gotten over 50k stubs just from playing that many games, not even counting your rewards. All you need to do is work the market. I think I've made so questionable decisions to be fair.

Freeman is in my squad but not in the 25 man roster...Justin Morneau has been just too good...but is trash against lefties.

You can probably sell Shelby for around 5k on sunday, or wait until monday because he may go to gold. I don't like marte either, he only pinch hits but I think I still may sell him. Lorenzo starts at center for me, but I am looking to upgrade there. Picked up carp solely to sell him when he goes gold. Picked up the 3 cains because he was dirt cheap since he was in those packs. Got them for 800 a piece and he already is back up to almost 2k. If he goes gold then I will make some good profit. Also have 2 prince fielders and freddie freemans that I am probably going to sell if/when they go gold.

Just put Alex Gordon in the market... he has been struggling a bit in real life and he is overall 85...which could drop him to silver in the next update.

Yeah give it a go. There are some collections that are really cheap like the rockies and diamondbacks where you can get 85 overall players. I am looking at doing the astros soon. It could probably be done for 30k and than i will have a 98 Bagwell and Altuve. Who could be diamond very soon

You're right...I should be aiming for those cheap collection to have a decent player with ratings that don't fluctuate.

Wow I actually had no idea how easy the Rockies legend was to get while Arenado is overall 85

If I sell Gordon...I'll have around 17,000.

I'm gonna get creative to have a more stable team without those damn platoon players that are really good only against one side.

You could turn that 17k into 100k in no time. And have a monster team. my recommendation would be to buy cards and flip right away. If you can make 10%-20% or 50% profit thats awesome. I am holding on to a few until they turn gold like Kris Bryant. But i am flipping tons of cards. but i dont want to get into a situation where a player goes down in rating and be out a bunch of stubs

Cole Hamels is only 7,000 stubs....I feel like I should invest in him right now...he's bound to get pretty expensive in a couple days
