Ok I bought Jeff and the first person I played destroyed him. He now has an 81.00 ERA. All my other pitchers average a 2.00 ERA. I know I kinda suck, but apparently I really don't know how to use Samardzija. Any tips?

Shark is dirty. No real strategy when I use him besides inside cutters on lefties sliders sway on eighties. Mix in some splitters and 97 mph heaters and he's money

Every time I pitch with Jeff he just gets hammered to death in the first inning giving up on average 3-4 runs. But after that first inning he does really well. Anyone know why this might be?
