Is SCEA going to deal with intentionally lagging out
Played a game where I was winning 5-1 after the 4th. Dude pauses it for a min, and every at bat after that the pitchers that were thrown to me were flinching toward the plate, making impossible to hit. He struck me out in the 6th and it the game froze for a minute saying that I had lost the connection and return to the lobby. Figuring he just pulled the plug, i was happy to take my W and then it says I lost the game and my rating went down. Upsetting but people like that should not be playing the game.Tags: None -

Re: Is SCEA going to deal with intentionally lagging out
I hope you filed a grievance report. Even though it may seem like it won't do anything I think they'll notice if others start doing the same. I hope...
I'll never understand why people do this. Does it satisfy them to get cheap wins?Comment

Re: Is SCEA going to deal with intentionally lagging out
Happened to me twice last night.. I don't get it it's like getting laid in a whore house... Yeah sure you got the job done, but was there really any question that it would happen? I hate when ppl quit if I'm winning or dominating on the mound n I get a W NVM exposing an error like that to get wins... AwfullComment

I did, but I'm not sure they do anything. Sony should find a way to deal with thisComment

Re: Is SCEA going to deal with intentionally lagging out
You thought DoS attacks were crazy, try hacking the game's system to give yourself wins against specific opponents (top rated players) while they aren't even online. This recently happened. Went from around 1960 down to 1900 while I wasn't even online. Logged in and I had the disconnect ritual item reward. I've gotten a bit bored with DD so I haven't played in a couple days and didn't notice. So someone is hacking the system to basically send to the game's servers a game where they win by disconnect.Comment

I messaged a dev/mod that had helped me in the past. Hopefully he dev team is already aware since I cannot find the person anywhere except in my game history.Comment

Re: Is SCEA going to deal with intentionally lagging out
These are from the same person within minutes of eachother. All have the same exact pattern of one team with one hit and the other with an error sometimes. All disconnects. You can't find them on the leaderboards as far as I can tell so that makes me believe the devs were aware of it as if you look at the game summary they should be rated up near the top or on top if they weren't banned/removed. Sadly the losses are still on our records and in my case it was a huge hit, one that makes me not really want to play the mode anymore if I have to "recover" lost points because the game isn't secure.Comment
