Just a thought, it would be nice if the create a player would have a maximum amount of points that could be assigned to him. Just to try and prevent anybody from maxing out their character to 99 on every single attribute. It's just so unrealistic to have a player that is so good at every possible facet of the game.

Separate divisions for people that want videogame-ball and people that want to play sim. I'd be on board with no created players for the sim division or a low max rating like 81.
An 81 max rating means you can make a speed guy, a power guy or a defensive wiz, not all of the above.
After getting initially hooked, I've quit DD. It's basically the same 30 players that make up almost every team and it's too arcadey for my taste. People taking out starters after 50 pitches. You pretty much never see a SP go past 5 anymore unless it's Ryan or Seaver. 98% of the players pretty much do everything possible to remove all skill from the game now.
If I don't see any major upgrades to DD for next year, I won't even buy the next version. I'll just mess around on my chise in 2015 once in a while. Variety is pointless in this game. Once you hit 1650+, it's strictly gold to legend every spot on the team.
