So where is the "intercepting " coming along? How did you "make" 1 million stubs

Cause if he's putting up orders that would mean you'd lose more. ..
It looks like he's reserving places for future sales. Buying everything out for a player, then putting up your own artificial progression would probably keep people from putting up crazy prices since the player looks filled in. When it comes time to sell to a customer, he'd just have to remove his orders to get to whatever ammount was needed.

I just got lucky enough to catch him in the act of clearing. I've got all 20 of my spots populated with free agents now as an early warning system. If one sells while I'm on, I'll rush to that player and start posting more in the hopes he keeps clearing them.

Didnt believe you guys then I caught him three times last night at 10pm eastern time. Buddy Carlyle, Allen Craig, and Jose Tabata got 99,999 for each.

I don't understand...are you guys buying awful players for cheap and then just throwing them up for 100k+ and hoping they'll sell?

I read this thread then looked at my free agents and the ones I had that werent part of collections I put them up for 99,999 not expecting it to work. Then out of the ten I put up someone bought those three. I do not understand what is going on either I bought them for real cheap today and put them back up.

I still don't get it...so people are buying every free agent card on the market of one guy then putting that guy back up for an insane price and hoping it sells?

What it looks like he's doing is selling stubs through the free agent list. I'm guessing he buys out a player of all their cards (which used to be few and cheap for the free agents). He then repopulates the player like this:

                1,000
                5,000
                10,000
                25,000
                100,000
                500,000
                1,000,000

Other people see this and usually just put their card up under 1,000 because they want it to sell. When the guy is ready to move stubs to someone, he'll tell them to put the card up for sale for 1,000,001 stubs or some other amount, he'll then buy out all the cheap under 1,000 stuff, remove his sell orders, then buy the 1,000,001 listing to give the person their stubs. After, he'll fill in the player again like above. If you aren't on and don't see it happen, you'd never know it did since the player gets back down to 1,000 stubs quickly.

To get all this set up, he was clearing every free agent yesterday. Me and a few people on the boards caught on and started to list cards when he was clearing someone and made a ton of stubs.

So should I just list random players? Or are there certain ones more likely to get bought?

There's really no way to tell who he's set up already. After his grouping moves off the visable area, you'd have to buy up to his listings to see if they are there. From what I saw yesterday, he's probably got 75% of the free agent list set up.

Thanks by the way for alerting me about this guy last week. Made a giant profit this week off that mysterious millionaire you warned us about.

Just list all your free agents for 50k or 100k and pray you get visited by the The Show Fairy.

I took a look at the team of one of the guys who is selling stubs. There was a top player at every position, starting rotation, bullpen, and bench. Everyone who bought stubs from him will have the same exact team.

Why even bother having stubs and a community market? Might as well let everyone pick up the players they want for free now.
