Do you have a player that just performs a over everyone else?

I'm about a .260 hitter according to my Universal Profile and going through my current team with names like Williams, Trout, Harper, Brett, my best player is actually my lowest rated player and I can't explain it.



Anyone else?

Votto has been really good for me. He has the best slugging and OPS out of everyone on my team.

The player that has been absolute crap for me is Harper. He hitting around .125. I can't explain it with the ratings he has and his batting stance isn't anything out of the ordinary.

well Carlos has a nice stance that feels nice when you swing.

i seem to do better with batters who have a crouched stance like Dioner Navarro for example. guys like Stanton, Trout. those guys with the stand up straight type of stance i just cant seem to do very well with them.

I'll tell you who I can't hit with... Harper. I've given him more then enough shots to prove himself to me but I can't hit over .250 with him. Currently sitting at .224 with 4 hr. Swapped him out for Gonzales and he has gone 10/15 with 6 rbi, 3 stolen bases and 2 he in 3 games. Granted it's a very small sample size but I will be selling Harper sooner or later. Gotta see what the market does with him either way it's a nice chunk of stubs since I bought him for around 15k and last I checked he was going for 81k

CarGo has insanely good ratings against righties now, which probably helps. Like, by those stats he clearly looks like a platoon guy, but I hit well with him against right handers too. For me, it's just his swing is so tasty.

There's a thread about Joc Pederson, and he's far and away the best I've hit with anyone in terms of production this year.

That's better than me. He's hitting .125 with 1 HR in 60 ABs. I keep wanting to go back to him because his ratings look great against righties.

My stats with him are based over 200 at bats so I've seen enough

I was thinking of selling Trout, and picking up Cutch. Might have to do that now. If I sell Trout I can get Cutch, and Kershaw

I really think some players throw better pitches to hit to lower rated players and tend to nibble/cheese MVP candidates

That's the way it goes in real baseball u challenge the great hitters way less then u do weaker hitters.
For me its been Brandon Crawford I have used him all season before updates he had horrible hitting ratings and he was still my best hitter out of my lineup (Gordon,will Clark,Posey b.bonds,a.Jones,m.machado,h.pence.)

Yea, I know he is a Legend, but Rod Carew is a beast for me. Great contract hitter, great fielder.

Brandon Phillips seems to get on base every time he comes up and rarely makes errors in the field. CarGo is great as well, but I would say Phillips is more surprising because he is an 81 Silver
