Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Man - those 1500 innings will take forever.
Just played a full game with all Twins players (5 SP, all RP plus all Position Players) and still only got 80 innings out of it.

They should give us at least 5x9 innings for those SPs.

I agree that they are going to take some time but as I think I said in another thread I think the missions were meant to take a lot of time.


I doubt that they expect any but the most dedicated players to complete the innings requirements for all teams. I am guessing your normal player might finish off one or two of those challenges.


For 1500 innings you should be looking at about 19 full 9 inning games.

are you able to sell players that you receive from completing conquest missions ?
and
do the conquest games counts as 9 innings instead of 3 for unlocking a player ?

I assume it is counted as three. It would be a big loophole otherwise.

I have played out over 100 three inning games in conquest so far. Simming is looking more desirable now even though I said I would not do it.

I just started playing this mode today, and it seems very fun and addicting. However, I read through all 22 pages of this thread and often have no idea what you guys are talking about! Feeding your DD guy? etc., etc. I've never played any of the DD games before, only played franchise and a little RTTS. I've read the DD and Conquest tutorials, but they aren't much help for actual strategy. Any suggestions for a good (and brief!) Conquest primer? Youtube?

As for feeding players. If you look on your My Squad team there is a category for a created player. The created player starts out mediocre but you can feed him cards and he will get better. Feed him a bunch of centerfielders and he will be a better CF. You can feed him multiple positions and he can become a jack of all trades.

Also, some of the missions for conquest require feeding your player for example most teams follow this progression

Stage 1. Conquer their stronghold - Get a decent legend
Stage 2. Play so many innings with players from that team - Get a better legend
Stage 3. Feed players from that team to your created player and earn a pretty great legend card.

I experience a weird glitch in Conquest.

I have 30 territories, which means, i should get 10 fans in the reinforcement phase. I do get 10 if I dont play a game in the capture phase.

However if I win my game in the capture phase (on veteran), I only get 9 fans to reinforce and the stronghold i played adds 1 fan instead of losing 2 (as it is supposed to on veteran).

This glitch appeared yesterday and it doesnt go away. It's annoying.

Anyone got an idea or experienced something like this?

For Stage 1 you get a decent legend for conquering their stronghold? I'm looking under Command and Conquer under Missions and for conquering strongholds it has an XP reward of 5000 And 250 stubs. Is this listed somewhere else? Thanks in advance.

I have a little over 10,000 stubs. My team is pretty bad. I have decent pitching, but the lineup is not strong (Derrick Deitrich is my clean-up hitter).

How can I best spend my stubs to improve my team?

1. Buy the 10-pack with 1 silver?
2. Buy a couple of position players on the market?
3. Buy 10 6 player Position Player packs?
4. Other ideas?

Inside edge is your best bet. You can find some cheap bronze players each day who have their stats increased substantially. My pack luck hasn't been that good so I have been doing option 2 because you can find some decent silver players that aren't that expensive.

I went ahead and chose the 10-pack before this was posted. After opening them all, I think I wish I'd taken your advice. I did get Beltre (gold 92), but the only other players above bronze were several silver pitchers which I really didn't need as much as hitters. The only other positive to the 10-pack was that it provided lots for my created player to eat! So now he's good enough to join the squad on the bench.

If you go to Squad and then click on the Daily Matchup Rating - Inside Edge it lists the players I am talking about. Congrats on the Beltre pull as you probably broke even.

I don't think you need to. Your only big threat is Arizona. Work on taking some of their territories and try to make your towards their stronghold. KC and MIN are low on territories so I doubt they'll attack you at all. Got to chip away at Arizona.
