Re: Who are your Investments
People say equipment is good but I tend not to trust it. I try to flip cards that even if the market takes a dump on them I can use them in my lineup. Last year I basically planned my hole lineup around completing teams, using the locked in gold and diamonds and legends. Then flipping everyone else I could.Comment

Re: Who are your Investments
if you want to make some stubs quickly, look for players that are 1500 to 2000(give or take some stubs) you will sell those type of cards quicker than you would if you were looking at the big pricey ones, (obviously in the end everyone wants the best card but you have to start some where).
I bet for people that want those diamonds, they will work the 1000-5000 stub players and build up enough stubs to then purchase the diamonds they want.
but like any auction, it takes patience and quite a bit of work to really work it fully.Toronto Blue Jays

Re: Who are your Investments
The Show is the easiest game to make video game currency on due to their sell order system and huge margins, just have to be patient. We will use Anthony Rizzo as our example.
Rizzo is currently listed at a Buy Now price of 28,750 and sell now price of 20,650. NEVER use buy now or sell now when acquiring or selling players, instead use the order system.
1) Create a buy order for Rizzo at the price of 20,700 - enough to barely over cut the highest sell now price. Eventually someone will come along and click that sell now button. Boom - you just bought Rizzo for 20,700.
2) Create a sell order for Rizzo just enough to undercut the highest buy now price, ex. 28,700. Someone clicks the buy now button, you just sole Rizzo for 28,700.
28,700 *.90(What is kept after tax) = 25,830 - 20,700(original cost) = 5,130 net sub profit
Now, it usually is not this simple and easy as there can be a decent waiting period for other player to use the buy now/sell now function on the market and a lot of undercutting by others also trying to flip. Hope this helped fellas.Call me the Clutch Man

Re: Who are your Investments
So I tried flipping cards last night. Made some profit but some cards didn't sell. Now in the morning their value has crashed. Should I wait for the market to shift back or just accept my losses and sell it at current market price?

Re: Who are your Investments
Was thinking the same thing. I have Lester and Stroman. Stroman's stock seems to be rising more and more. Maybe I'll put him up after his next start if he tears it upComment

Since I'm a Giants fan, I think 3 players will rise in stock pretty good. Nothing like a Diamond but could see them going gold

Re: Who are your Investments
Do you guys remember how long it is until they start doing the rating adjustments? I know they said it will be a week or two for the next roster update, but since I didn't play DD until July last year I don't know when they start changing the ratings.Comment
