Agree on Belt and Duffy, disagree on Panik. IIRC he's already rated pretty well and can't see him improving too much over last year. Don't think he has enough power in his bat to be a good investment

Well Panik is already pretty close to Gold so it could happen and may not need much. Oh and he started off nice with a Home Run today in his first game, but guess we will have to see

good examples above for sure, but here's a cheap and easy version too. I bought about 5 Kyle Blanks cards for $40 each.....the next highest was like $100 so i posted all 5 that i bought for $90....they all sold so i netted about $40 on each card....the expensive cards can make u a ton fast but if u dont have all those stubs u can find guys that are horribly cheap and the next lowest amount is about $50-$75 higher so just post under that and they will sell fast because i guarantee ppl saw that the price just shot up and theyll wanna buy fast

I bought some Randall Grichuk and Stephen Piscotty cards yesterday at 70 stubs or less. Grichuk was a Rookie of the Year candidate last year before he got injured and people have high hopes for Piscotty so at those prices it seemed like a no brainer.

Do you have any idea how many times in this forum the 'tongue in cheek' snark is used? It provides absolutely nothing in terms of content or constructive posting.

Was it an overreaction? Probably. But your post added absolutely nothing but a small jab at game developers for something they have no control over. And I'm a little tired of that going on in my forums.

Wasn't my post. Just saw an overreaction to a harmless comment. I'm sure that is the least of the game devs worries.

But this isn't the game devs forums. They're mine. So they are my problem. Hence the response AND the thread now at the top of the forum that has to go up every year (even though I wait and see if it will actually be necessary) warning against it.

Sorry I thought it was your post, but my response to your belief that it was an overreaction stands.

Got a Donaldson (25k) and Tulo (20k) on first night. Wanted to complete team collection but since theyll be locked, ive changed my mind. Now theyre up to 75k each. Might flip them tonight.

                          Re: Who are your Investments

The Update is 100% unfair in every which way. In real life, when I buy an item I can use it for what ever I want. When I buy a piece food article and use it a dish but there is still some left over I can still use that in another meal I'm not restricted from only using the product straight up…So how is this justified? It does not add longevity whatsoever… More players =s longevity which they added…. If you have no use for a card that is a 50 overall why cant you feed him to your created player to make him a fraction of a percent better? They already stated that its 7x harder to get him to a diamond this year… Well they just made it harder by forcing us to buy more players (which means more stubs) or open more packs to feed useless players to our DD created player so he can improve…. It does not add longevity… It is not fare for someone who spent 5K on a collection but has no use for a 60 overall player to just have him sit in his binder… That player will make his created player a fraction better… This is the worst update I have seen from any Ultimate team based game mode since price ranges in fifa, which is more justified than this. When you click “Buy Player” on the community market that means you now OWN HIM…. The Definition of “Buy” and “Own” are as follows… obtain in exchange for payment and used with a possessive to emphasize that someone or something belongs or relates to the person mentioned. Agreed. Both players will be very good this year.
