Getting the hours mission faster?

How is everyone doing the hours stuff so fast? I'm using all the Padres players I can and doing the full 9 innings on veteran. And it's taking so freaking long. How are people doing this in under a day?

Until the other day innings were counting as double so you had to play half the amount I games. I ended up getting lucky and grinder hard for a couple days to acquire Carew, Holliday, Ichiro, and Ozzie Smith. These were taking roughly 3-4 games each. I play 9 innings on rookie that way they didn't get many hits and then I just busted everytime. If by the top of the 9th they hadn't scored I would get 2 outs and then load the bases and walk in a run. That way games didn't go longer than 9.

Aw man, I didn't know that...it's taken me 4 hours to log 750 innings. So close yet so far to tony Gwynn. The only bright spot is that I pulled Bryce Harper today so I could finish the NL East set for Chipper which makes is more agonizing to play with padre players

Apparently they have no life and infinite patience if they can complete a player in a day.

I've been suffering trying to get Beltre ever since they patched the innings. And he's only 1000ish innings. I can't imagine how much it would suck to do a 2000 inning player.

Thank god I did Carew (1500 innings) before the patch.

Cmon man why do you need to go and say that? No life? Buddy most people who have these players did them before the patch (like myself) and were able to do it in half the time so for every one you'll do, we did two. So don't say they don't have a life or infinite patience when most did them at twice the speed.

I meant people who complete entire player missions in less than 24 hours post patch.

It takes way too long to get these players now and you'll be lucky if your games count with these servers.

Well, if I had to guess I would say the developers meant for these missions to take most of the year and that they are set up in a way for you to maybe focus on ones that are most important to you.
