possible glitch?

ok so i was just playing a guy in head to head DD, and the guy brought on his created pitcher in the 5th inning, well this is the weird part, he used his created pitcher the rest of the game, however, whenever a right hand hitter came up to the plate he would pause the game and flip his pitcher for a right handed pitcher but then he would switch back to his created pitcher everytime a left handed batter came up to the plate. how is this possible? he did this switch about 6 times before he ended up quitting while i was up 8-1 on him.

but how can he constantly keep switching and bringing back his created pitcher everytime i had a lefty come up?

no, his created pitcher was named Owl or something and he would switch between Josh Fields, his created pitcher, then eventually started doing the same thing with Fernando Rodney and his created pitcher.

He could've put the other pitcher somewhere in the field and then just switched their positions each time the batter handedness changed then he'd swap em back.
