Re: I have completed Conquest mode twice.
I don't see the harm in repeatedly giving people 10 packs that will guarantee you nothing but 1 silver card considering it takes 30 games at minimum to reach that reward. That's a lot of grinding for what's likely going to be very little payoff.
It probably took me closer to 40 games to finish Conquest and I got nothing of value in return but a silver relief pitcher that I could've gotten for 100 stubs on the marketplace.
To be honest, I am shocked that they are giving out a 10 pack bundle for completing it. That seems very generous.Comment

Re: I have completed Conquest mode twice.
Do you have to go 20-0 to get a card?
At the point where you have won 2 games you are guaranteed a better card than the random drops if you play conquest on easy levels. In conquest you still have to play 30 games.

Re: I have completed Conquest mode twice.
So you think they should give out $10 worth of card packs for a mode than can be finished at least once a week? The mode is not hard and once you know the main strategy you will never lose and have to start over.

Re: I have completed Conquest mode twice.
2 wins = bronze card
6 wins = silver card
12 wins = 1 flashback card
20 wins = 3 flashback cardsComment

Re: I have completed Conquest mode twice.
I like the mode and I think a 10 pack bundle for completing it one time is a respectable reward. I don't think it should be given for every completion after that. If they wanted to give a single pack, ok. If you had to complete it 2 more times to get a 10 pack, then 5 more, etc. I would be ok with that. Once you have a good DD team you can sim your way through everything but stronghold games and it would be totally exploited.Comment

Re: I have completed Conquest mode twice.
I never insinuated that the game mode was easy on Legend.
But the way the mode is set up now it does not require Legend.
You can play all of your games on Rookie if you play your cards right. There is no denying that if the prize was repeatable people would just be completing it every 3 to 4 days to get the $10 prize.Comment

Re: I have completed Conquest mode twice.
There really does need to be some sort of incentive to playing Conquest more than once. I'm not suggesting 10 packs, but some reason to play the mode after unlocking all stronghold players. As it stands, there is no reason to play it beyond "fun," which the mode is not for me, personally, as much as it is tedious.Comment

Re: I have completed Conquest mode twice.
The only way I think there should be more prizes for completing it is if they did a New Game Plus mode where, after defeating the mode you could start it in new game plus.
In New Game Plus remove the rookie difficulty level and make the requirements for playing on Rookie in the regular mode the new requirements for Veteran. then have a NG++ that takes Veteran off the table.
Another option would be to have a "No Sim" repeatable prize. Complete Conquest without ever simming a result.Comment

Even if they gave you ONLY silvers, that's still something you could farm to get stubs.
If these packs were farmable it would be a disaster for the game as a whole. To me it was a wise decision not to go that route.

I like both new DD modes and each has their strengths and weaknesses. If you play conquest straight out of the box without alot of pack or purchases, the mode can be difficult even on veteran with all bronze players.
BR gives you much more even matches since everyone does the draft and gets essentially the balanced makeup of teams.
BR gives more to the players because of buying in. I don't think conquest should give a 10 pack if beaten on rookie or veteran and 90% simmed. I do think their should be something for people who up the difficulty and prefer it over BR.

Re: I have completed Conquest mode twice.
I think you should be rewarded again if you're willing to do the grind and work twice why not. I'm not against maybe making it harder if you decide to complete it again most new game plus are harder. And I'm defently not asking for hand outs but right now simply playing and winning games is not cutting it in the rewards department it's like Grind till you're hands fall off ,oh and for you're trouble here's a shiny bronze you can enjoy Comment

As mentioned before though how much of a grind is it?
I simmed every attack round and skipped most (not all) of the Capture phases. In 1 day of playing this past weekend I went from a new game to having over 300 territories controlled. I get something like 70 reinforcements every round. Now all I have to do is attack each stronghold with an overwhelming force which would allow me to play on rookie. Yes, 30 three inning games might take me 8-10 hours to complete but I still do not consider 8-10 hours on rookie as a grind.
Oh and you will most likely get 30 Common or Bronze cards for playing those games which is the same amount of players (and probably the same quality) you would get in 5 standard packs.
When deciding on prizes they can't always look at how long or difficult it may be for you or I to finish the mode, you have to look at the path of least resistance and quickest way to finish the mode because that is the path most people will take.Comment
