Well maybe its just that you have so many more packs than me then...

I started with 15 packs and then just got the 10 for the server issues. 100 packs? Damn.

I've probably opened close to 100. Still no diamonds and I think 4-5 golds .

I have bad pack luck, but was having really good luck flipping in the marketing making a good 30-40k a day. But the last 2 days the market has been really bad. Maybe it's the fact that it got flooded with thousands of packs SCEA gave us .

With that said, I completed the Red Sox collection and that has been it so far. I will probably go after a few of the cheaper ones like Padres, Braves, etc. next. I did notice for the Padres you get a Gaylord Perry that doesn't show as No Sell, but I don't see any of them in the market place.

Are collections really worth it? The stub and card rewards don't seem to be worth much, am I better off selling the cards? Or can I do collection and sell after? What seems to be the best way to go about it?

You can't do them and sell the cards afterwards, so they're really only worth it if you want the bonus cards and want to keep some of the players on the team or feed them.

The 25 card ones can be done really cheap, usually cheaper than buying a similar rated card. Lots of people do them since you need to feed players in order to get the cards like Ichiro, Prince Fielder, etc anyways.

Can I still feed the players after I locked them for the player collection missions or do I need to have every player I want to feed twice?

You cannot sell any of those final collection reward cards. I have done 10, i believe, including that Gaylord Perry

I get that the cards are locked once you complete the 25 card collection, but is it just those specific 25 cards that are locked or is it the entire collection?

Like, let's say I complete the Mets, but only with 25 of the cards. It's a set of 39. Can I sell any of the other 14 Mets cards I didn't lock upon receiveing them in future packs?

Yeah, it only locks in 25 cards when you do a 25 card set. So if you lock in all the commons and bronze players for 25 and then you get Cespedas in a pack, you can sell him but the commons and bronze will sill be unsellable

Really?

I just assumed it locked the whole collection, but I wanted verification. This is exciting news because that's exactly what I did. I spent a few thousand stubs and filled in the missing bronzes and commons for 10 teams last night, but I didn't lock them in yet because I wasn't sure.

Maybe a stupid question, but I'm new to this Diamond Dynasty thing.
How do you lock cards or collections?
I have some (or maybe a lot of) cards in my inventory, from different teams. I use some of those cards as players in my DD team.
How do I do the lock thing? And does that interfere with my DD team?

So you have to go to the missions where the collections are and say if you want to do the collect 25 Red Sox collection you would click on it and click advance. Then it lists the 25 players it says it will lock which means you will still have them on your team but they won't be sellable.

Do you get to choose which 25 cards you want locked or is it the lowest rated 25 cards automatically?
