Red Sox Legends and FB Players Very Disappointing

As a diehard Red Sox fan, I have to say I am really disappointed in the Red Sox Legend and FB cards available in Diamond Dynasty so far. They're almost all second and third tier Red Sox legends...not a single true Red Sox legend (other than maybe Tiant and Ortiz).

It just seems like they were lazy and didn't want to do any artwork or editing for players not in the game already so they just used Fisk, Eckersley, Saberhagen (!?!?), Papelbon, Ortiz, Salty, etc....all players already in the game.

I mean, where is Nomar, Dwight Evans, Roger Clemens, Pedro, Yaz, Wade Boggs, Ellis Burks, Mo Vaughn, Cy Young, Jim Longborg, Varitek, Bobby Doerr, Ted Williams, Jim Rice, Lefty Grove, Jimmie Foxx, Manny Ramirez, Tris Speaker, etc?

The three major Legends they have are all, arguably, more suited as other teams' Legends (Fisk and White Sox, Eckersley and Athletics, Saberhagen and Royals).

I'm sure they are trying to add some of the more legendary players but my guess is theirs a lot more to it then just picking people's favorites and adding them in. I mean I would love to see Willie Mays, Willie McCovey and maybe one day an actual Barry Bonds but my guess is money and legal terms is what's stopping a lot of these players. I just know every year we will see more and more so I'm happy with that

I think everyone can look at their favorite team and find Legends that are missing. It is not unique to the Red Sox

Yeah I'm not sure how they got Will Clark as a Texas Rangers legend as he was good when he was there but hardly better than a prime Pudge Rodriguez, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, 2010 Josh Hamilton, and more.

I just hope they can get Pudge in there, that would be awesome.

I know that's why I said an actual Barry Bonds. I think as time goes by we actually have a better shot of him allowing his likeness in a game. His attitude has changed a lot and wants to be more part of the game again. Which is why he's a hitting coach now and even set up a store on his website where he started selling autographed memorabilia which he never used to do. So I'm hoping one day he will be in, would love to see a FB Bonds for the Pirates and the Giants. I'll keep my fingers crossed

They do have beltre on dodgers 98 overall. It's a conquest/command reward.

I know that's why I said an actual Barry Bonds. I think as time goes by we actually have a better shot of him allowing his likeness in a game. His attitude has changed a lot and wants to be more part of the game again. Which is why he's a hitting coach now and even set up a store on his website where he started selling autographed memorabilia which he never used to do. Bonds decided on this matter a long time ago and, as a result, will never appear in an MLB-licensed baseball game:

"Bonds informed the union that he would not be signing the organization's group licensing agreement next year and would instead pursue licensing opportunities on his own.


Players usually sign the group licensing agreement, which allows companies that obtain MLBPA licenses the right to use players' names and likenesses on their products. In exchange for their rights, the players get a percentage of the sale of the products such as trading cards and video games.


The signing of the agreement is usually a formality. In fact, Bonds will become the first union member in the 30-year history of the licensing program not to sign it, said Judy Heeter, director of business affairs and licensing for the MLBPA."
