I went to check how far along I was on the Phillies collection and I remember last night I only needed like 2 players. Now today, I noticed I need several more; the additional players are low value commons who's names I don't remember seeing before. Does SCEA add cards throughout the season and make them needed for collections? I was under the impression that you would only need to complete the list of cards for each collection as they were listed on Release day.

I just looked at another team and there are new cards there as well...so it looks like they definitely do add cards throughout the season. Interesting.
I confirmed by looking at the Trends and the new cards obviously have no trend. -

Yes they will add cards or take some away and move to free agents. And you will see the new players prices be super high to take advantage of those that want to complete collection before they are more readily available. Wait a few days and they will be cheaper and complete collections before updates

Changes with every roster update.
If you would have completed the Phillies collection before today, you wouldn't need those new cards. But since you didn't, you'll have to obtain them to complete it. Same thing for every team.Comment
