You don't have to believe me. I had 100k and I made about 50k profit on Saturday. I flip a lot of cards and have an all diamond lineup minus Correa

With the small profit margins either :

      1. you got lucky with a couple purchases

      2. or you a grinding flipping card mofo…

either way you have a system, I'm here to play ball not flip cards. BUT since you are setup perhaps a little bone to us "commoners" ?

So far I've lost money on Trevor Rosenthal. I sat there for half an hour today at the airport before my flight trying to sell him after I bought him and no matter what I did I was always getting undercut. I finally started doing it by 50 and 100 and I was still getting undercut and I couldn't sell him. I got off the plane and his value dropped to below what I bought him for. I was trying to make a profit of about 2000 stubs as a goal and it just kept dropping and dropping to lower and lower and now it's too low so I'm going to wait and hopefully he goes back up in value.

That wasn't a good move, Rosenthal's price was really high today because of Inside Edge, so flipping him for a profit would have been difficult. With guys like that, your better off buying when he's a 86 or less, as he'll only cost 4k or less. When he's a 93, his price is higher, and even though there appears to be a higher profit margin, people aren't really going to buy now on a gold closer priced that high, so the cards just sit there.

Dude i take losses every now and then. it is just part of it when you are flipping a lot. Dont let it bother you. Move on to the next one. You will also learn the prices of certain players. Prices of players can also fluctuate several thousand stubs in the course of a day

Yeah I guess so. It's definitely more difficult on my phone and me having to get on a plane means I missed out on hours of time that I could have tried. Oh well. Hopefully I can break even on the card at least.

Re: What to do: Large amount of stubs

as stated before, there are ways to make up to 50K a day. Many factors do come into play, Last year I was routinely making 30-40K during my work hours, this year has been a lot tougher, but still have rounded out my team nicely and started knocking off collections. To many factors play into it.

To the OP, if you are still looking for advice, always always always use the market, and always always always put a buy order in. One thing I like to do when completing a collection, if give yourself a limit of 1-2K stubs for the whole collection. Buy 2 of everything of the low bronze and common cards to start, until you fill all the orders, then flip one of every card back for whatever profit you can make. Even if it's 5-10 stubs. you would be surprised at how often you start off with a 2000 stub budget, bring in everyone except the golds, and end up with 2400 stubs left over. basically free cards if you have the patience to do it right.

There is no Market Strategy involved, just buy as low as you can, and sell for around the 1-2 listed card.

So Rosenthal went back up and I was lucky enough to sell him for an OK profit. Not as much as I was expecting but I had jump at the opportunity.
