    Stacked teams.

I've been noticing a lot more stacked teams that are full of diamond players with maybe 1-2 gold players in their lineup recently. Theses diamond players are ones only gotten through packs and not ones from doing innings/feed challenges. Also these teams have really bad records compared to me. For example I'm 106-38 right now (85% I'd say from head to head the rest conquest or br) and I'll get matched with someone that is only like 40-35 yet they have a stacked team of all these diamonds and guys from collections. It seems to me there are A LOT of ppl this year opening up their wallets to pay for collections and not earn them. Don't get me wrong I've spent my fair share on packs and finishing collections but nowhere close to having the teams some of these ppl I face have with half as much time in the game. If I wanted I could put all my studs in and have close to what their teams are but not fully compare to their lineup. I have been doing my innings challenges in h2h and still going on average 3-1 in 4 games against these stacked teams having my roster full of oriels and Seattle players currently with 1-2 exceptions. I just wanna know if I'm the only one noticing this trend recently. For reference my h2h rating is 1725 not great but not bad I think maybe it's just been a rough stretch. It's nerve racking when you got a okish pitcher going up against 7 diamonds all hitting well over .300 and 30 hrs but yet rewarding considering I'm somewhat handicapping myself with the challenges in working on.

What spurred this thought was I beat someone last night that had one of these teams and had a record of 30-29 and he sent me a lot of hate bc in his eyes I somehow cheated a the game by winning 7-2 with an inferior lineup then his lol. He said his team rating was 95 and when he asked what mine was I told him 84 and apparently the only way I could have won was from cheating. I wasn't pulling any cheese either though I layed down 1 bunt with my lead off guy (forget his name. Cf for Seattle I think) when the score was 2-1 in the 3rd.

It's eas to grind innings for prime flashbacks. All you do is challenge friends to a game and just Bunt/strikeout. Each game lasts about 10 minutes, and you earn 81 innings each game. It's at least 4x as fast as opposed to playing 3 inning games against the computer, 9 inning games, or a full ga me H2H.

In regards to these teams you say being filled with diamonds you buy from the market,, ppl must have thrown down a few hundred to finish a division like NL west for 97 Kemp, NL East for Chipper, AL East for Cal, etc..

Alot of these ppl are bad players. I'm not saying only bad players go for the best players in the game, but the majority aren't that good at the game, and they need all of the advantages they can get, lol..

Just because they got a team full of diamonds doesnt mean they know how to use them. Some people want all the best players thinking it will make them better. If you suck at the game, all the 99 diamond players in the world arent gonna help ya.

This is why I wish Battle Royale was working better. This is a mode where the teams are pretty much even and then skill gets to shine, not the amount of stubs you earned/bought. At least, until your opponent disconnects and the game goes to que.

This to me is just cheap and in my eyes shouldn't be allowed. Besides its gotta be boring as hell.

I don't see any issue with people stacking their teams. It just makes me play harder and smarter and focus more. I get more frustrated when some guy with all silvers demolishes me.

online/offline it's great to beat the 'top' teams. feels more rewarding when you beat up on the cubs offline than it does to whale the phillies.

              Re: Stacked teams.

For the innings/feed conquest guys you really don't need to buy any stubs. Bought the version of the game that costed an additional $10 and had a couple decent pulls to get started, played through conquest and just grinding the innings out for the diamonds I wanted I believe it was 6 in total + my created guy is a diamond as well and bought cespedes to fill in the last spot and none of those diamonds really costed anything to do since the statistical rewards and stub rewards back from getting them I still had around 40k leftover.

Bought stubs for the first and probably only time threw in $100 for 150k stubs to buy pitchers since I'm sick of the "random" rotation giving me my worst pitchers everytime pretty much.

I'm not a very good player though since this is my very first time playing MLB the show so having a team like this really doesn't guarantee anything just helps make it a little easier.

                Re: Stacked teams.

I've kind of given up even with my team of Diamond players. I did it wrong not going for the full collections. After playing a couple teams with Jackie Robinson/Arod and Reggie Stocker. They are just soo much better than your 93-95 Diamond players the only players that compete with them are Harper and Trout.

I regret spening like $300 on cards between all the issues and realizing I need to spend a lot more if I want the best possible team, but at least I've learned my lesson.

I agree, I went for Jackie Robinson and I can tell you that the Robinson, Bonds, ARod and Kemp cards are literally sick... It's way above and beyond the normal diamonds...
