Feeding player help
I am to the point where I have unlocked the embody the mariners and wanted to know what the best way to feed to get the Ichiro. I have 35 of the 40 mariners I am missing the top 5 rated players. I am missing the diamond Felix the 3 golds and Benoit. Should I feed all those I have to my created player? Can they only be Mariners players to count also? Is it better to load up on silver or bronze players or does it matter? This is the first time I have done this so I am in the dark, any help is appreciated

Re: Feeding player help
Just know, if you feel like getting the 40 Complete roster of the Mariners it's gonna go back to 0 if you feed the 35 Mariners playerComment

Re: Feeding player help
It will be, but if you want to compete at the highest level you will need to complete all the collections to get A-Rod/Bonds/Jackie Robinson, if you're just in it for fun do whatever floats your boat... feeding all the mariners will definately unlock IchiroComment

Re: Feeding player help
I'm a little new to this year's DD, how does feeding players to unlock other players work? Is there an explination somewhere?Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Re: Feeding player help
Once you complete the mariners set and feed it, it counts towards completing the entire division or league? You dont have to keep the cards after you completed it do you? I didnt think you had to have every single set complete and still have every card at once to get Jackie RobinsonComment

Re: Feeding player help
it's more expensive to do the Mariners, Padres, Brewers, and Dodgers feed missions because everyone wants the players from those missions. I just did Seattle's the other day, it probably cost from 4-5k.
just go ahead and buy the cheapest silvers you can, I was spending from 200-400 on each silver and it probably took 20 or so of them after I already fed all the Mariners players (silver and lower) that I already had. you get about 3% per silver on the feed mission.Comment

Re: Feeding player help
So I need it broken down more. I've already done both braves sets the 25/40 cards and gotten the two cards from them. So I seem somewhere that I can get Eddie Matthews for Braves if I feed. Does that mean to get him I need to create a player and get all 40 cards again and feed them to my created player?Comment

Re: Feeding player help
I did the 25 card mission and fed the cards and I was getting 3% from the higher rated bronze cards and 4% from the silvers. Also was getting 2% for ever lower rated bronze so it would seem that the low bronzes at 2% each for 40 stubs are the way to go when the silvers are going right now for 300 stubs and the higher bronze for 100 stubs. to break it down 4% silver 300 stubs 3% bronze 100 stubs 2% bronze 40 stubs. The market changes but at these prices the silvers dont payComment

Re: Feeding player help
Also the inside edge ratings have no effect on the feeding. It will not give you more for Gutierrez 84 counts as 77 and Lind being a 85 today it counts both as a 77 3% feeding 150 stubs cost- Aoki is a 77 3% feeding 100 stubs cost,so sells for 50 less stubs and gets you the same 3% towards completing 100%- Miley 76 3%100 stubs cost 50 less stubs same as AokiComment

Re: Feeding player help
Just in case anyone else is doing this I finished and it was not that hard if you want to train your DD player to hit RHP buy Linds LHP buy Aokis or just split them up evenly and your created player will be trained equal in both. Each 1 card used to feed will get you 3% at about 100-120 stubs 30 cards is 90% with the few other commons you have you might be at 100% from that but it will cost less than 5k stubs and you get 1250 stubs back when you finish it so its worth it Ichiro is a studComment
