Re: Who has been your suprise stand out?
Fernando Rodney. No idea why, but he's absolutely lights out, by far the best of all my relievers. He's still my closer despite being 5-10 worse rated than the rest of my bullpen, but his ERA is under 1 and he always gets the job done. No idea why as his pitches aren't exactly a devastating combinationComment

Re: Who has been your suprise stand out?
Agreed he's been my most steady player and I've moved him from CF to 2nd to CF and so on, love his versatility and his batting stance.Comment

Re: Who has been your suprise stand out?
I've seen Kiké and Odubal mentioned, which have been good for me as well, but 2 other guys I have really good success with are Brandon Belt and Devon Travis. It sucks because I have Hosmer, who I LOVE playing with, so that kind of limits my play with Belt. As far as Travis, I just don't play him as much as I should for Captain's Missions reasons. Being that I'm on Altuve's currently, I've been trying to force myself to get good with Panik, but just can't. Think I'm gonna give both Segura and Castro a shot there, though maybe I'll just go to good ole Travis.Comment

Re: Who has been your suprise stand out?
86 James Loney and Corey Seager have been great for me. Loney is hitting .318 with 10 homers in 107 at bats, and Seager is hitting .358 with 9 homers in 151 at bats.Comment

Re: Who has been your suprise stand out?
Doug Fister has been killer for me. Love it when he starts games. He's got an ERA in the low 3s for me.
Out of the pen has been Joaquin Benoit and Adam Warren as a long reliever. Benoit is ridiculous and Warren eats innings like none other.
At the plate for me, Freddie Freeman rakes. Plays way above that high silver rating.MLB: Minnesota Twins

Re: Who has been your suprise stand out?
Yimi Garcia for me. Even though he doesn't have any killer overpowering pitches, he has become my go-to reliever any time I get in a jam since his accuracy in the game is really good. I only watch the Dodgers when they play the Cards so I don't know if he has great control IRL or if I just get lucky with him in The Show, but I strike guys out like crazy with him.Comment

Re: Who has been your suprise stand out?
Steven Piscotty. Apart from my CP he's been in my squad from the first game. As I've gone on and pulled some good cards from packs he hot pushed out of the starting 9 but is my main pinch hitter.
Pitcher wise Jaime Garcia , he was good for me last year too.

Re: Who has been your suprise stand out?
Chris Sale has been the biggest suprise for me albeit a disappointing one, the guy just gets rocked against good opponents. Kenley Jansen is my favourite reliever, his slider is downright nasty I'd put it in the mix for best pitch in the game.
On offense Robinson Cano has taken my team to a new level, but Yoenis Cespedes has been terrible for me, despite his extreme woes I still find myself wanting to plug him into my lineup just for his defenseComment

Re: Who has been your suprise stand out?
Carlos Santana - He has been my ROCK at catcher. He hits for power and average and is a switch hitter so he is always in my lineup.
Daniel Murphy - Card started off as Silver and is now Gold - probably my most consistent player.
Ryan Braun - I know this is a high rated card to begin with - but boy does it live up to the billing. I got this card on a post game loot drop (surprise!!) and I was tempted to sell it. But I quickly realized that would be a huge mistake.
Honorable Mentions: Jung Ho Kang, Steven Piscotty and FB Vinnie Petano [Indians]Last edited by Glenn33; 06-01-2016, 08:52 AM.Comment

Re: Who has been your suprise stand out?
Surprise Good:
Brandon Belt, he's been doing so well I have him routinely starting over Encarnacion who I can't hit with at all.
FB Yankee Nick Swisher, he's only an 81 overall but he absolutely crushes right handed pitching.
Surprise Bad:
Yankees Reggie Jackson, I was so excited to finally complete the Yankees and get him. His stats show he should murder right handed pitching but he's been just a gaping whole in my offense.
