Re: Who has been your suprise stand out?

So I'm gonna name one I haven't seen yet since everyone has mentioned such great cards already lol.

It may sound silly but I highly recommend everyone that has a weak card for CF get this guy, I believe eventually he will be turned to a pitcher :/.

Jordan Schafer, his bat isn't great but has 70+ contact vs R. Power is weak and so is contact vs L. This being said he has 98 speed and 99 stealing. 70+ throw power and solid D. I've robbed batters of endless doubles and triple and quite a few Hrs. He fluctuates between .420-.440 which is really sad. I've had him for over 100 games and I don't plan on ever replacing him. When it comes to stealing bases I never lead off from first and will steal 9/10 times. His bunting is incredible and where I get most of my hits lol.

Typically get on steal 2nd and 3rd then mookie knocks him in!

      Of course it is.

Let's work to find you a player around the similar price range who can get you actual hits.

I mean I get plenty of hits with him. He also leads my team in triples. But if you aren't savvy enough to bring your 3B in then why stop bunting?

That being said if there is another 98-99 speed OF with a good arm please let me know and i'll get him ASAP lol.

I want FB ichiro to be my CF but have a ways to go.

I bring in my 3B all the time and bunts still succeed at a ridiculously high rate because this game can be so incredibly stupid.

I think the Cardinals collection is fairly reasonable to finish---if that's not totally out of reach, Jim Edmonds is really good.

I'll have to work on him after ichiro. I am almost done with the redsox, but not by choice

I really like Adam Jones for his defensive stats. Though he is not at all fast he still hits well. He has a cannon for an arm, and is pin point accurate. He makes up for how weak FB Holladays defense is lol

My OF is really terrible one way or another. I have Mookie in RF but he has the worst OF arm in the game i believe.

With the way he is playing he will be my full time 2B. I will likely move JBJ to the OF after 1 more update, solid speed and good arm with a bat that is coming around.

I wanna get Billy hamilton because of his D but he can't hit either lol. My LF fluctuates between gordon, Y thomas, and conforto depending on who has their inside edge on.

So until i can get some better OF it looks like im stuck with Schafer, maybe JBJ, and a platoon in LF.

Ichiro is actually one of the easiest feed players to do. Everyone should have him, if only for his defense and baserunning. At the very least, you can use him as a pinch runner or defensive substitution in late innings.

700 innings to get Ichiro is no big deal, and most of the good bronze feed players add about 2% per card, so you only need 50 feed cards to unlock him, which costs about 2,500 stubs.

I have been using Peralta in RF. Dude rakes, power and clutch for days vs righties. V-mart is tearing the cover off the ball from both sides. Corey Seager is my new Marte lol. He is hitting .491, 3 hr all oppo, 12 rbi's in 22 games. He also has decent speed, and is great defensively.
Randal Grichuck is a beast over the past 2 days. His batting stance is money. I've only used him last night and today but in 5 games he's hitting .563 5 hr, 10 rbi, in 5 games.
                      Inside edge is pretty cool!!
Last year Yoenis Cespedes naturally would do well he was 88 he hit 252 with 77 hr but Lucas Duda hit 272 with 87HR and 159RBI
This year however my diamond player Altuve is struggling just 248 3HR and 22 rbi 51 steals 15CS that's a surprise low star
Surprise standout Christian Yelich and Michael Conforto both have 15HR batting high 280s leading the team in RBI is Yelich with 32 and don't forget, they are silver *conforto was formerly bronze. Runner up would be 82 Charlie Blackmon hitting 367 with 5HR and Zo Cain he is hitting 282 10HR and 27RBI.
Pitcher MVP is Velasquez (PHI) lowest strikeout game was last night I had 11. I normally go for 15 a game with him under 8 innings. The Phillies Rookies has a 2.67 ERA and a 14-3 record he did strike out 16 in real life. He was bronze 78 when he dropped out of my 20 packs, he's now 82 (silver) he displays a dangerous combination a 94-96 FB a 82CB that leave opponents swinging early with the ball still 10 feet away, 83 change and a slider.

Sometimes you don't need a diamond player to succeed, you are the diamond player and I don't mean that created player with despicable names, the one behind the controller (you) is the diamond player

HOOOLY CRAP I forgot about him. I have been using Jung Ho Kang, Franco and Seager. Just checking my PS4 clips saw it. I was in a 17 innings battles, with 2 strikes Grichuk came to the plate against a lefty, he was 0-2 (late entrant apparently) and he hit a walk off 3 run HR off the diamond dynasty player of the other team. Gotta add this dude to my team I completely forgot about him

Ever since I got FB Dan Uggla, I've been killing it with him. I'm batting around 400 with him with 5 HRs and 9RBIs in about 30 ABs.
I start him at 2nd and put Murphy at 3rd and my Created guy at SS, even though my guy is a 94 at 2nd base.

My Stand out has been Kevin Keirmaier.

I am hitting around .410 with him in well over 200 plate appearances, He has had some good pop for me with 8 home runs and around 40 rbi. His speed makes him a base stealing threat, and he is by far the best defender in the game. in roughly a 1200 innings he has 8 OF assists and is an absolute game changer in the field. I know a lot of guys tend to avoid him since he has low contact and power, but I tend to like the guys with slightly smaller PCI.

Him and Yelich are my 2 fav cards to use currently
