Captain Levels

Is there really a reason to train your captain over level 30 since there is nothing you can get higher than 30 in the store now, would it be smarter to get all the captains to level 30 first then work on them all after all your captains are at level 30 then get them to level 35 or 40?

That's exactly what i am doing. I have 4 of them at 30 and just about to start the 5th. I know there are a lot of people who have all 6 at 30

I have all 6 at 30 now and going to start trying to get them all to 40 just in case there are ever any rewards for it.

Yup, I got all mine to 30 first, now I have a few at 40 and am working on getting the other ones there.

I've got 5 to 30, now just trying the tedious process of getting the De Grom one to 30. Bit of a nightmare as there are almost no position players with high numbers (Cespedes, Trumbo, Park, Melky and then a bunch of no hopers), so your ticket earning takes a hit. One I've got them all to 30 I'll go back to the ones that most of my players suit and try and get them to 40 and see if anything ever happens for that.

I'm actually going to get my Donaldson 50 before I level up the others. I'm currently at 42.

Id say thats an odd way to go, but it probably isnt, I havent bought anyone in the store for 3 weeks because they continue to rehash the same people every week.

The way I figure it, if they ever do release a reward for 50 I will be ready for it.

Man you guys are quick. I've played this game quite a bit and I've only got Altuve and Hosmer at 30 and Donaldson at 28. The rest are at 0 lmao

The experience points you get for completing the missions go toward captain levels. Make sure to change captains when you are claiming some of the rewards and the levels will fly.
