    Saved by the stats

I just played my third consecutive game against Arrieta online on DD, so having seen him for 18 innings already I had his stuff down perfectly!

Lay off the slider, could recognise the change, crushed him... Or Atleast I had the swings to crush him. Constant balls infront of the plate and weak jam shots or broken bats, with my wedge dot on the ball and perfect timing.

Usually if I'm on with my zone I will score 5+ easily, and if I get shut out I know it's because I've been off.

Basically, was I just unlucky here or was this player simply saved by the high h/9 stay of Arrieta? I've had similar against higher rated guys before.

Had I took these exact swings vs my starter (Lance Mcullers) would the results have been better?

I've wondered this a ton. I do think those attributes would contribute to the RNG when it decides where your ball will land.
