Personally, I think consumers should be able to assume that the game is functioning as intended and not be required to validate whether something is a glitch or not. This game has hidden missions that will suddenly pop up for redemption. If a player sees this, should he validate that he did, in fact, blow X many save opportunities before redeeming? It's really not that much of a stretch to assume that requirements changed or that the player somehow triggered it. If a player goes into the pack store and sees that packs cost only 500 stubs, does he need to verify there is a sale going on before buying them? And it's not like the info is that easy to find; The Show has already proven its lack of willingness to communicate with customers - just check their twitter feed.
I agree that it might be obvious for more intense players, but for a casual player, it might not appear like a glitch. Besides, there have been several other glitches in this game, such as when the post game rewards showed the last card as a gold player, but gives me a common card instead. I'd rather the devs work on fixing the other remaining game-play issues than spending time trying to figure out how to take back cards from the few players that happened to benefit from this glitch. In the end does it really matter if you're up against an all-Diamond team if those players are flashbacks or from the live series? Every year in DD teams quickly all look the same, even before this glitch there have been several threads about playing the same all-diamond teams.
They'll do what their going to do but I think they should just move on and show the customers that they are addressing the real game-play issues and not just those instances where in-game currency is concerned.
