They dont translate rbis or runs to any specific attributes in this game so those stats are moot.

Cano was overrated defensively last year on this game. Out of like 100 plus 2b I think he was the highest when guys like Kipnis who have better def metrics had like 67 fielding.

Doubtful Cano goes to Diamond, as stated above, based on the defense.

Stanton is deserving of a downgrade, but we will see if it happens.

      Trumbo deserves a hitting upgrade.

      Frazier deserves a hitting upgrade.

Yelich needs to go up to gold already.

My sleeper pick for a ratings boost would have to go to Jung Ho Kang. That guy almost reached his offensive stats from last year in a 1/3rd of the games.

I have to wonder if Stephen Piscotty will ever go gold, since he's been trending over 85 for most of the season (if not all season)

Does he deserve to get his defensive stats back? I feel he is rated exactly where he should be, or slightly even a touch high.

A lot of people on here expect for players to go up, but then never state which attribute should be upgraded, as a few have said before Cano, is pretty much right where he should be with contact and power, While a Guy like Yelich, Where would his upgrade come from, maybe a slight boost in contact on lefties, his power probably shouldn't be touched.
Todd Frazier also, has a ton of power on the game and low contact, His batting average in real life reflects that well, so not sure where the upgrade would come from.

Im a Tigers fan so im partial. I dont see how Ian Kinsler doesnt go up soon. He is quietly on fire. Nick Castellanos, deserves another hitting upgrade. Michael Fulmer is proving to be a good move (the first in a long time) for the Tigers. I would like to see him go up to atleast a low 80.

I hadn't realized how great Kinsler had been this season until another user mentioned that he should be rated the same or higher than Cano. I agree with that user. His Cont vs L should be higher considering he is dominating them with his .391 average. Also, his Pow vs R should go up as well. He has 11 HRs off them and it's only June. Can easily see him going to about a 90 OVR at least within the next couple of updates.

Castellanos is one of those guys that is having a sneaky good season but is in a sweet spot for the game. If his stats change, then maybe a slight increase to Cont vs R and a decrease to Cont vs L since he's had a rough time against them.

Think youre referring to me. Theres essentially 4 second baseman that have all been very equal this year after Altuve. Cano, Kinsler, Zobrist and Murphy, you cant really make a case for one going diamond(Cano) and not the others. People just tend to look at offense but Cano is probably the worst defender of the group and his hitting vs RHP cant go any higher, really nowhere for him to go.

More attention should really go to some of the lower guys, but theres no stubs to be made off those guys so no one really cares.

What does everyone think about Marcell Ozuna going up? I've had 16 of him for the past month that I bought at 160 stubs each, so it won't be hard for me to just sell and get my stubs back. He has always been interesting to me because he is hitting well this year batting .314 with 12 homeruns. Where I get stuck with him is he plays CF and has a low speed rating, so I know it will be hard for his ratings to go up. On top of that I'm also not a good judge when it comes to how good a fielder is if I don't see them on a nightly basis.

It depends on what you mean. If you mean going gold, probably unlikely. If you mean a ratings boost, then I could see them raising his Cont vs R and L. He's been killing lefties (.377) and actually batting rather well against righties (.297) which would seem to be much better than his suggested 67 Con vs R. So he could go to the low 80s. I'm not sure if he's hitting for enough power to make him a viable candidate to go gold.

Quick question. Why doesn't Cueto have any boosts?

Cueto definitely needs a boost, BB/9 and HR/9 could go up. Jose Quintana needs a boost too.

FWIW the Michael Saunders bandwagon is real. Buy Now has gone up from 25 to 95 in the last two days!
