Wonder if that HR derby Power display

will get Stanton a increase of any kind or will they just disregard it because it wasnt a actual game. He hit 20 of the 21 longest HR's and dominated, that has to count for something if the show is trying to have the cards ratings reflect the play of the actual players, updating them weekly then even though this was not a game it shows Stanton has got his HR stroke back and was hot going into the break and clearly still has the power he had at the start of the year when he was a diamond he just had a slump. We shouldnt have to wait 3 weeks to have a players card get raised to the way he was playing weeks ago now. The player could be back in a slump now but was on fire a month ago and while he was on fire his rating were average and then when he cools off he goes up. They need to work on that system

His power rating is still high which is correct

His contact rating is much lower which is also correct. He has to play better in actual games for them to consider bumping it back up

Thats what I figured which sucks cause he was hitting great the last week, power and average but with this week off he may not get a raise at all from his hot streak if they dont count this since nobody plays real games for almost a week, if they do decide to boost him cause he continues to play well after the break the boost wont happen for a month most likely then. That is what sucks

His Buy now price is up to 32,500 right now and sell now at 26,600 that is a considerable jump in price from before the derby. Yesterday he was at 21-22k buy now and 18-19k sell now, the prices he is going for now are diamond card prices, so he should be getting a boost or people think he is. Right now his stats are 93 rated inside edge and power L 87 +11 R 97 +2 contact L 54 +11 R 76 +11 Vision 28 Disc 91 clutch 79 so he has some room for getting raised and should be back to a diamond card pretty quick in my opinion but it is already too late to invest in it. Look for it if the card goes back down in the next few days though

He hit a bunch of juiced balls really far at BP speed. Why would he get a boost? Lets not turn this into NBA2K16 when Zach Levine gets a 99 card for jumping high in an All Star event.

Nobody else could do it ,thats why. It is clear he has 99 power when he is not injured. The only thing that has held him back in his career is injuries. He had a small slump and they dropped him all the way from diamond down to a 87 gold and is back to tearing it up again but they will never raise him from a 87 to 93 in 1 week, SDS never does anything that could make the players(us) stubs only things to lose stubs. How many weeks to keep Cano at a 91 when numerous other players less deserving have got raised 2 points in the interim that have played not as well stat wise. Bottom line I wish I had the coin to buy multiple Stanton cards now because he was selling for 50-60k when he was a diamond 6 weeks ago and he will be a diamond again this year and everyone loves power and HR's and he is and has always had the best pure power ratings for any hitter so his card will be wanted. To buy for 25k you will double your stubs as soon as he goes back to diamond which might not be for a month but he still bombs HR as a 87 gold

He wasnt injured for the 2 month stretch where he hit .200, lets not act like it wasnt a very deserving ratings drop. Lets also not act like Cano ever deserved a boost, what dont people get about the fact that he isnt a very good defender anymore and he doesnt hit lefties very well. He isnt gonna get a boost, theres no conspiracy.

As I said they gave Stanton 2 months before they finally dropped him, lets give him more than a good 2-3 weeks before we talk about boosting him back up.

Agreed, I don't see a path for Stanton to get back to diamond this year either. 50% His 6 point OVR drop is due to the 20 point hit on his durability & 8 point hit on plate discipline. He hasn't played 150 since 2011 so this has nothing to do with his slump, its a multi year correction. Those are two categories you don't get back
I dont remember there names but they were allot of fun....
