Yea collections get you 12.5K per. 10K for the 40 and 2.5k for 25z It's what I am doing. And I just started playing a month ago already in the 20s for Donaldson and Rizzo. And now I'm working on DeGrom because I'm doing innings for ATL and it's now an easy way to get tickets.

Don't overlook that they changed the criteria for each Captain Mission as well. So players that previously worked for a captain may not work anymore.

Focused on getting all my captains to level 30 and I knew I should have just kept going on 1 captain to 40 or 50. Now it will take forever to get 1 captain to level 50 FML

Jose Fernandez is a better pitcher than those Seaver and Greinke cards.

Save yourself 2,000 tickets and get Jose instead if you want a starting pitcher.

I was pretty disappointed in that Grienke card. Maybe his pitches have motion, but man, his Per 9s are totally mediocre. How is that a 98? As for Seaver, I thought his per 9s were just pretty good but surprised that he was a 99. So I thought, their pitches have to have some slick movement to it and checked it out on DL:



They've got really good control in general, and movement on the breaking pitches looks pretty good. So they don't appear as meh as I thought, but I agree, if you compare Seaver/Greinke with Jose and don't notice the names, Jose's looks better or on par depending on what pitches people prefer. I think Jose has the best slider/curve combo, I know that curve looks out of control but the movement is so insane that it baits people so often anyways.

I planned accordingly. I've got Donaldson up to level 50, another up to level 30, and another up to level 24. I've got 4700 tickets. I'm at level 0 for Ted Williams though, and 0 for Pujols. Those are the two I want the most, but at the same time, I'm really happy with the guys they'd be replacing so it's not all that bad I can't get them. I've got FB Prince Fielder at 1st and FB Matt Holliday at LF. They both do well for me.

I am going to try to bring up my level 30 to 50 by the time the next round of level 50 players drop, and maybe do the same with the level 24 guy. That way I've got 2 or 3 cracks at a level 50 guy that will fit my team and be worth it.

I don't need the current Donaldson level 50 guy either, a 97 overall 3rd baseman. I've got FB Beltre.

Am I the only one who doesn't like these super cards coming into the game? I enjoy DD far more before all these super cards come out. Williams was bad enough in the last one, now we have guys like Cargo, Stocker, Pujols, Arods...

I've played a team that has had four or five guys with all 95+ hitting and it's just a waste of time.

I've played a team that has had four or five guys with all 95+ hitting and it's just a waste of time.

In a mode like this, the majority of the the people playing will just be hunting for the best cards...that's just how competitive card collecting games are.

I understand how the mode works as I've been playing Card Teams for way to long now, what drives me insane in this is I'm going to see lineups now with Mauer, Pujols, Utley/Cano, Cabrera, ARod, Tulo, Hanley, Cargo, Trout, Williams and it will be impossible to pitch. I'm all for flashback players and legends as I believe it adds some fun to the game to see younger versions of players or guys I grew up watching but these Super Cards are extreme.

You can beat those super teams if you also have a super pitcher too but I get your point. These games basically are about who outscores/hits the others, unfortunately you also run into people who just try to bunt you to death

Regular online rated is still a thing.
