Created player secondary position

Edit: for whatever reason it changed the position after i added and removed him a few times. it now updated his position

You can play your created player at any position. If you look at the main screen, it will show you their ranking for each position.

I understand that. But when i try to put him as a catcher, he is still god awful even though he is ranked as a 92 at that position. Cant catch or block even with good stats. I have to imagine it has something to do with the out of position factors they put in the game this year. If it lets me set a back up position, it should change the fact that he's awful as a C. He is ranked as his best position being second base.

He can only have a primary position. You have to remove him from your lineup and add him at catcher. They dont want you to be able to use him at multiple positions in the same game

then why have an option on there for secondary? and even if i remove and add him to the roster as a catcher, it puts his primary position at second because thats what he's rated highest at.. kind of a stupid set up.

Are you putting him on the bench or directly into the starting lineup? If you put him on the bench, he will automatically be his highest rated position. If you put him directly into the starting lineup, he should assume the position you are putting him in. If you want to switch his position, take him off the team and back in.
