    DD Difficulty?

I've never played much DD in years past, bu this year I decided to give it a go. Is it just me or is the overall difficulty in DD increased compared to say .... franchise?
On all star or HOF in franchise I can pitch for butt loads of strikeouts, but in DD I struggle to get my k's. I also struggle at the plate more so than any other mode. Just curious.

Your players probably aren't as good in DD if you're just starting out, but I have noticed that the CPU can be extra cheesy on DD.

I wasn't going to mention it, but yeah .... I noticed the increase in cheese myself.

Rookie and veteran are far too easy, all star is a decent challenge with a lower ranked team but once you have really good hitter and pitchers, you'll be just fine

I'd say DD is a bit harder than regular franchise. Just wait until you get to strongholds though. You'll need to play a real tight game. I was playing against the Rockies stronghold on veteran and had Billy Hamilton picked off and thrown out in the same game. I wasn't just running on first pitch or taking 2 extra steps either. The computer always seems to find a way to tie up a 1 or 2 run lead in the 3rd inning too.

Boy I guess I made a mistake by just playing on the difficulty needed. Last year I was fine on Hall of Fame, though I didn't play DD. now I'm getting beat up on All Star if the team has one or two really good hitters
