    Opposing pitcher

With the pitchers being selected at random, is there a way To see who your opponent is throwing?

With having lesser players in DD, there are plenty of guys who are more suited for a platoon role. Would be nice to be able to change the lineup depending on who they start.

They took it out, design decision.

Yeah, unfortunate decision. Now platoon players are either strictly for PH or you deal with crappy splits. Which is even sillier considering they even have Platoon as a quirk, but made platoons basically useless.

The CPU selects randomly but I notice my weakest pitcher gets the most starts. Even if I move him around the numbered rotation.

The knowledge of the handedness of the pitcher was abused by losers who did not want to face left handed pitchers and simply backed out of the game if they saw that they were facing one.

It was apparently abused to the extent that SDS decided they needed to do something about it and this was their resolution.

Yeah, the problem is they seemed to have chosen the worst possible fix. All they did was remove the indicator from the lineup screen.

            Better options for users:
create lineups for LH/RH pitchers, using the same 25 man squad
count backing out of the lineup screen as a loss
do not apply to single player online modes (conquest, vs cpu, extra innings)

I think that I heard that they wanted L/R lineups but were not able to get it implemented.

Putting it back into Single player would be nice unless they pan to eventually give up modes where backing out of the game would be an actual exploit. For example needing a win streak similar to battle royale or events.

It's literally the dumbest fix to a problem in the history of video games.

Moving people around your rotation does nothing, they got ordered based on their overall. Starting pitcher selection is 100% not random though. Whatever formula they use to pick a starter is broken, has been for years. I pitch with the same pitcher everyday for a bunch of games until I have to physically remove him from my rotation because I am sick of pitching with him.
