Bought a 10 pack bundle. I pulled Kimbrel. Online odds being better looks like a sound theory so far.

This just isn't true. I just ripped 150 packs and pulled 4 golds, 3 equip and 1 player total.

Same odds as in game. Anyone that received good stuff was just lucky and there are just as many people like me who received nothing good. So i would say just open them wherever you feel like it. Kind of a bummer as after reading these posts i decided to try it for the first time and was hoping there was something actually to it, rather than it just being isolated cases of people having good luck at that moment.

Pack odds.

I've bought many packs over the past few years both on the website and on PS4 and always felt like I had better like on the console than on the website.

Ironically, after reading this I opened a few packs on the website and actually did get a gold but I'm sure it's the same odds either way.

Like I said I've always had better luck on the console.

I opened another 20 pack on the website and pulled 2 degroms, Darvish, David Price and Cody Allen. Never had this sort of luck on console. It's probably dumb luck, but I'll take it.

opened 50 packs on the website, got a Cole Hamels duplicate. I just have the worst luck I suppose

I just paid money for stubs for the first time ever and opened a 20 pack.....got Gold Lucroy which I already owned and Gold Sanchez that is only selling for pretty cheap on the market. So needless to say I recouped most of the 20k stubs spent on the pack..but I still regretted the decision to pay for it LOL

Update. LMMFAO. Still no diamond glimmer, but....

Sold a couple golds I wasnt using and cleared out all my dupes. Got a 20 box.

Ive been recycling the same 20k for 3 days. Ive opened 70 packs. I keep getting piles of decent silvers or golds. Never higher than silver toppers. But sporadic golds have kept me breaking even.

There are a few random commons that go for 1-2k. I suggest checking your collections.

After the 2 50 packs i ripped online and got squat, i decided to rip 2 more when i got home from work last night.

1st 50 packs i got

F Freeman as one of the 7 player toppers
Trea Turner (my 4th or 5th)
Polo Grounds (my 3rd i think)
Lorenzo Cain
The gold reliver for the chisox i forget his name

So i easily made back my money and then some on that bundle

2nd 50 pack bundle

Mad Bum on 2nd pack
A Chapman (Sold as i already finished Yankees collection)
Gerrit Cole
Degrom
Yu Darvish
Greinke
David Price

Also got quite a few gold equips between the 2 bundles, though none better than the 700-1000 stub variety.

I made back triple or more of the stubs that i paid out on those 2.

I truly believe it evens itself out between the site and in game. So wherever you enjoy opening them, or wherever you feel you have been luckier, is probably the place to do it IMO of course.

Decided to buy 20 packs, open 10 on console, then 10 from the website. Console 10s best player was Eduardo Nunez, and the website 10s best player was Steven Vogt. Though I got yet another Kelvin Herrera as a game reward.

Did conquest. Got the 10 packs. Literally nothing. Sold all the dupes and squeeked over 10K stubs. Bought another 10 pack. Pulled a diamond Kluber. Usually I don't sell diamonds, but in this case I'll move him hopefully at 33K. with that I'll get a 20 pack and buy deGrom. I do already have Lindor so if Kluber doesn't go for that I'll just keep him and maybe I'll get lucky with more Indians.

And in that 20 pack I get Stanton. So I'll sell my duplicates again. Buy Yelich, complete Marlins.

So the trade works out like this. Kluber for deGrom, Stanton, Yelich, breakout Nolasco and the epic path to Hanley Ramirez.

Kluber is a great pitcher, but deGrom could go diamond soon and is good enough as it is now. So I'll take this as an improvement for my team.

I have no idea where to post this but I just noticed Kimbrel is a diamond now. I bought him for cheap a while ago. I'll take it.

Yeah that was needed. Kimbrel was odd in that he couldn't get any points adding to his rating for being hot. So he was stuck at 88. I kept him as my closer because I never do poorly with him. Melancon, Familia, Osuna were always rated higher and it wasn't right. So I was happy Kimbrel got bumped up.

The bad part of the ratings hold/cold for relievers is that it seems some guys are always cold or always hot. Lefties are often behind righties in this. I don't know why this is. I need Miller or Chapman I guess. So anytime I do best roster, I'll have to remove two or three righty relievers for lefties.
